Great starting point to explore upper bucks county and the river. Relaxing porch with rockers, pool for floating, and towpath for walking, running and bike riding. Lovely Stay

Great location. We especially enjoyed the towpath trail behind the house, which we took to Milford. The gas fire made the little living room cozy; the perfect place for reading and relaxing. Didn’t do any cooking but the kitchen would have been perfect for that. Bright clean bedrooms.

Barn House Adventure

The Barn House was unique. Antiques everywhere made me claustrophobic especially the lamps next to the bed at the top of the steps. Just so much stuff. Otherwise, I liked the field out back and we did venture to the canal path. The notebook was detailed with places to go and history (went to ringing rocks:). We saw a HUGE deer in the middle of the night when fireworks were set off somewhere close. Next to the river was beautiful. Thanks for the muffins :).

The Perfect Getaway

My sister, myself and my doggie daughter absolutely adore this property. We return every year for our pre Christmas shopping trip and always have a wonderful stay....even despite the occasional bad weather. We appreciate the immaculate condition of the Barn and love being able to take long walks along the Towpath that is located right in the backyard! Linnea is an especially super Host...always available and goes above and beyond at paying extra attention to the amenities, making you feel so welcome and at home.

Pre-Christmas getaway

Our stay was excellent, the property was so clean and the accommodations were perfect. The details were so thoughtful, coffee and creamer that my husband loved was perfect and the muffins were delicious. It was wonderful to see a Christmas tree and the entire Barn decorated. It made our stay so special, the owners took a great deal of time and effort to ensure that we enjoyed our stay and we did! Highly recommend the Barn! big hit!

Adorable Cottage

We had a great stay. We slept wonderfully in the comfy cozy beds and had everything we needed. Linnea even left us tasty local coffee, half and half and wonderful muffins! We even went to the Homestead and got more coffee to take home. We really enjoyed our visit to the area and this cottage was an excellent choice 😊

Perfect little barn cottage

The barn cottage had everything you could possibly need. It was decorated so nice inside and even out on the porch. The location was great, close to hiking trails, other activities, shopping and plenty of food choices in the area. The hosts were very nice and accommodating.

Sister Getaway

My sister and I had a peaceful relaxing few days. The property is beautiful, the 60 mile trail is conveniently behind the house. Linnea is a thoughtful host and provides everything you need for your stay. I highly recommended staying at this property. Thank you for a lovely stay Linnea

Lovely Buck’s County weekend

Linnea’s extensive garden is gorgeous even in October and her vintage decorated barn stay was probably the most thoughtful one I’ve seen. She thought of just about everything anyone could possibly need! She had coffee, cream, and giant muffins, a cover for microwaving plates, and a fire blanket in the kitchen, a closet full of games, toiletries in the bathroom, which is downstairs, (from extra toothbrushes to sample deodorants. The upstairs bedrooms (you have to pass through one to get to the other) had ceiling fans, luggage racks, air conditioners, USB and electrical outlets, and lots of extra bedding and blankets. Linnea told us about a cute nearby town we weren’t aware of, and we spent a fun afternoon poking around the antique keyshops and then had a fantastic dinner at Little York restauran. The town is half an hour away from our main destination: the Golden Nugget Flea Market, and the drive along the river was beautiful.

Superb! Perfect place for a weekend getaway

The property was beautiful. And the overall stay was kind of perfect. So many kind touches- from the garden tomatoes left for us, to the local coffee, and the comfortable furnishings. We all slept so well. The owners were nearby but not intrusive at all. Highly recommend!

Perfect hideaway

Tucked away behind the main house, this cozy cottage was just what we needed for a couple of days away. The landscaping is so lovely - flowers everywhere, Linnea has a real green thumb. It was a special memory to sit outside in the rockers during a big summer rain in the night. Only thing to consider is that the bathroom is on the main level, bedrooms upstairs, so not for everyone but we managed just fine (and we're older). Very well appointed, we had everything we needed.

A few day stay

Beautiful setting with gardens all around. Loved that we could walk to trail behind the barn any time of day. Great even for a stroller. I didn't realize there would be so many cars and people coming in and out which made us a little nervous of our little one playing in the driveway. We wanted to use the pool one day, but decided to wait until later in the day so we didn't have people around cutting grass, etc. We spent most of our time down at the river fishing. Nice location with parks and little towns nearby. We went NJ for ice cream at Jimmy's Ice Cream. A lot to do around near the barn. The a/c conditioners did struggle some while we were there and a touch noisy. All in all a nice little place to stay. Cute little kitchen with coffee and milk. We even used the grill a few times and sat outside on the covered porch for dinner.

Weekend to Relax

Outstanding property and hosts!! The landscaping and cottage are BEAUTIFUL!! It's perfectly located, close to trails, parks, river and canal. There are nice towns with shops, restaurants, and wineries. Totally RELAXING and STRESS free!! Highly recommend. Thx

Comfort and Charm

A cared for, charming, country garden stay with a welcoming hostess. Fished in the river, caught a small mouth bass, swam in the pool, cooked meals and had time as a family. Thank you for a great stay! We hope to return next year when we are expecting to again be in the area.

Adorable cottage

The cottage was truly so adorable and lovely for a little getaway. Linnea and Kevin were wonderful. I truthfully didn’t know that the cottage - listed as the entire house - was just behind the main house meaning there wasn’t a ton of privacy as the hosts were on the property around us for the entirety of our stay. Again, the hosts were wonderful so this wasn’t a huge issue but just didn’t know this going in. Loved the pool!

Quick Holiday Get Away

We had a fantastic time staying at the Barn. The property was wonderful, especially the walking path. I would highly taking that to the General Store for breakfast and some of the best coffee you will ever have. The homeowners were fantastic & friendly. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here.

Charming Thanksgiving Stay

The perfect cottage for our weekend visit to Buck’s County. We were visiting friends nearby and found this charming spot. The location is perfect, central to everything Buck’s County has to offer. The towpath is easily accessible for a nice walk. The cottage has a gas fireplace and all the amenities one might need. The coffee and fresh muffins were a welcome treat in the morning. We give this rental 5 stars and would definitely recommend to others.

Fall vacation providing the rest and relaxation we all needed

Such a beautiful property with warm and welcoming hosts. The Barn is adorable and very cozy. Nice amenities and supplies with just about everything you need. Originally from Lower Bucks County, we stayed in the at the Barn to visit family nearby. Great location with plenty to do in Milford and Frenchtown. Had breakfast a few times at the General Store. Locals there are very friendly and the coffee is awesome. Took advantage of the tow path just behind the property to take some nice strolls with our pups. Would definitely stay again!

Peaceful and serene. Close to many restaurants and antiquing areas. Back of property has access to the towpath of the Delaware State Park canal with miles of walking and bike riding opportunities. Front of property has access to the Delaware River, great tubing and kayaking. We are about 2 miles from Ringing Rocks State Park, a very unique park with a large boulder field which "ring" when hit with a hammer!
