First and foremost, this property is very spacious both indoors and outdoors! Plenty of privacy. The scenery was amazing and fall foliage was at its peak in the area. The house had everything we needed and then some. Communication during the booking process all the way to check-out was superb! I had a minor issue with the entry code when I arrived but it was resolved immediately. I would definitely stay here again!

Absolutely beautiful! We went away for a quiet, long weekend, and it was fantastic! I cant say enough about our stay. Gorgeous mountain views, hosts were amazing, and the house was perfect. We loved every minute of it. Highly recommend staying here!

It's really a good and big place. If you're into calm and peaceful atmosphere, this place is the best as there are no outside noises. The night sky view from this place is stunning, also the property has outdoor setup for a camp fire. The place has a private pond with fishes. The host was super communicative. I wish the place had couple more condiments, toiletries, a kitchen cutting board. Otherwise, I would recommend this place.

Our stay was great. It is close to Elk Mountain for our ski weekend. They had an easy online welcome format with recommendations for local restaurants. Clean and well stocked with essentials. The grill came in handy for burgers and dogs. Overall I would recommend

Such a fun ski house with a beautiful, large kitchen/bar! Immaculate, comfortable beds and the gas range was such a good surprise! Gorgeous views of the countryside and sunset. Very warm fireplace. We loved it here and will be back!

Great Stay Near Elk Mountain

The house and location were great for a ski weekend at Elk. Close to the mountain, very clean and a great big kitchen for meals/gathering.

Overall great stay! We stayed here for 3 nights with my parents and our kids for a family ski trip. The house was a good size for our group. They have everything needed for kids / babies - pack n play, high chair, toddler kitchen essentials. Plenty of board and card games as well as air hockey and basketball in the basement. 10 minute drive from elk ski mountain made it very convenient.

Very Happy with our stay. The house is less than 10 minutes to Elk and very convenient. Everything needed to stay was provided in addition towels, paper towel, toilet paper, and sheets. This was nice and convenient as other vrbos don’t always provide those items. Everything went smoothly and seamless with our check in, stay, and check out. I would highly recommend the house and Elk mountain.

What a great place to stay! So much space, and every amenity you could ever want. We were a group of 6 (4 adults and 2 teenagers). We came for a weekend of skiing and relaxing, that is what we got! We were so close to the mountain, the mornings were easy. Coming back was a breeze! We had so much space, and really felt at home. We will be back!

This was such a beautiful place to stay for our first time visiting a rural area. The peace & quiet was exactly what my family & I needed. The view was perfect and the house was exceptionally clean.

Peaceful Stay at Blue Elk Lodge

We had a wonderful time with our two dogs at Blue Elk Lodge. The property is beautiful, serene and the home is very clean. it was a wonderful week and we will be back!!

Absolutely stunning view! The attention to detail at the house was amazing. We had 11 guests between kids and adults and we all slept comfortably. The stars by the campfire was amazing. Lots to do in the surrounding areas not too far away also.

Place was in great shape, plenty of room, very nice beds, linens etc. We did watch the Eagles lose there but the skiing at Elk and great accommodations made up for it! Also met the owner, Rob, who was extremely accommodating. We would definitely go back! One piece of information that might be helpful, Waze did not work well for mapping trip back and forth to Elk but google maps did (not sure why, it was very direct, 4.5 miles but Waze was giving a 9 mile convoluted route).

Thoroughly enjoyed our time spent here.. We took multiple daily walks along the paths in the woods with our two dogs. A peaceful pond is just a short walk from the house where fish were caught. The fire pit out front was a nice touch to enjoy an early evening fire with a view.We always travel with our dogs and are grateful when a homeowner allows them. Upon making the reservation we were asked that both dogs be crated if we went out. It would have been nice to read in the description, prior to reserving, that a pet owner may be asked to crate their dogs. We ended up buying a crate for our one dog that is not crate trained and we were leery about how she would handle being crated. We were lucky that she did fine. There was a bit of miscommunication in regards to placing our trash in the garage and being picked up on one of the days we were there. Prior to our arrival I asked if we were to take the trash out to be picked up. Was told no and that they would get back to us on how it was to be handled and we never heard back. Upon arrival we then saw the bin at the end of the driveway and not in the garage as pictured and noted.We did get a timely response when we were given the wrong code to enter the house and appreciate being given the correct code so quickly to get us in. We thoroughly enjoyed being away from daily life and just relaxing. Memorable rides through the countryside with the Fall leaves changing their colors. Again, thank you!
