Perfect place to get away. So close to mountain

House location was perfect. 4 minute drive to mountain. Great space for the somewhat large group of adults and teens.

Great Elk Mountain house

This adorable mountain house was both quaint and comfortable for our family of four with school-age kids. Well-appointed kitchen, comfortable beds, and an unbelievable proximity to the mountain. Geoff was an excellent host, super communicative and gracious.

Great place to stay in a great location!

Upon arrival the house was exactly as described and very clean! The location is amazing in respect to Elk mountain and the house makes you feel like your in the woods. The house is well appointed and i would recommend this to anyone. Adam

Great Family Gettogether.

Very nice and comfortable. Kitchen roomy with new appliances. People with limited mobility may have difficulty navigating steps to the upper living/kitchen area or between floors via the spiral staircase

Great spot, great neighborhood but dirty

It was what could be a very cute little place, the price was so reasonable that I didn’t have super high expectations. The neighborhood and proximity to the mountain couldn’t be better. It was also really nice to bring my dog with me! The downside to this property was its lack of cleanliness. It’s just impossible that cleaners are coming in between stays. Even the exterior of the refrigerator was so dirty that someone smudged a smiley face on it. The doors all had black smudges and drip marks on them. I can usually overlook a lot, I don’t expect a little cabin at Elk mountain to have nice linens or other luxuries but basic cleanliness would be nice. It did make us feel like there was no way the linens were clean which is very uncomfortable.

Michele, we don’t appreciate this review especially after I provided you a discount up front and you had every opportunity to call or text me and never did. I could have easily contacted our cleaners and they could have addressed your concerns as they are nearby.

Great stay next to Elk Mountain

Great place to stay! It was 3 minutes from Elk Mountain so we were able to get home quickly after our climb to the top!! Geoff was quick to respond to my inquiries. Spiral staircase inside the cabin was very cool but could possibly be difficult for pets, small kids and elderly to walk up and down. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay! They had everything we needed...and more!!

Perfect Loation

The location was perfect for a weekend snowboarding at Elk Mountain - less than two minutes from the mountain. The property is beautiful and the house worked well for our family. Thank you Geoff!

Wonderful stay!

The location was beautiful. Geoff was friendly and helpful with any question we had. My family and I enjoyed our stay. My city kids loved running around the spacious grass.

The cabin

Things were exactly as the booking promised. It was quiet and clean with little extras that we appreciated. We took two dogs and there was no problem with the owner. I had a question for the owner and he got back to me right away. I would stay there again.

Grear location

This place worked out really well for us. We had family at the Village of the Four Seasons. It was so close. The house has lots of space and a great yard. It was clean and the kitchen had everything we needed. The stairs are a bit precarious, which didn't bother us, but might be tough for some renters.

Great spring weekend

The house was great for a long weekend. It was very clean and space was just enough for our family of 5. The property is amazing. Had fun enjoying the yard and the trails behind the house.
