Carissa is an excellent host! Clean house, close to lakes and parks and downtown shops and restaurants. Very cozy and welcoming place to stay.

This rental was exactly what we needed. It was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed. We would stay again when back in town visiting family.

The Oak Cabin was spotless. Great hosts, liked the location by Fountain Lake. Easy to get uptown. Great place to stay.

Cozy and Welcoming

We stayed at the house over the Christmas holiday. The house was just as pictured. Very clean, very comfortable and the host is very responsive. We will definitely stay here again!

The home was exactly as described. It was recently updated and very nice. The host was awesome and communicated promptly. Quiet neighborhood and near lake for great walking. Beds were very comfortable and we had a mini retreat for 4 days. Would definitely stay again.

Nice quiet neighborhood

Quite enjoyed the peace and quiet while I was working in the area. Beautiful house near the lake. If someone is looking for that quiet, this is The place.

Oak Cabin

Oak Cabin was a nice little stay near the center of Albert Lea. It is close to the lake and the hospital. I stayed here for work a work trip and loved it. the kitchen was spacious, the bed was super comfy and the bathtub was perfect for soaking! Plenty of extra blankets for cold days, as well as a tv and a cabinet full of books and boardgames. I would absolutely stay here again.

The property met our needs as listed. It was clean and accommodating and I would recommend to friends and family however the stairwell to the basement was not mentioned. The owners may need to take into account the safety factors involving the steep stairwell to the basement to use the washer and dryer and also a safety barrier in the entrance. The entrance door is very close to the entrance to the basement. Please keep in mind any elderly you may have staying and the risks of walking up and down the steep stairwell.

Oak cabin

This is a great house for up to 4 people. The remodel of this house turned out super. Location for area activities is great. The home has a/c which I don’t believe was included in initial listing. Clean and comfortable. We will come again.

Great place close to alot of shops. Need bigger kitchen table for chair when sitting at legs wont go under. Beds were not sheeted up. Sheets found in dryer. And no garbage bags fot kitcken or bathroom. And only one tv in house. But over all it works well.
