The house had everything we needed; well stocked kitchen, plenty of places to sit and relax, views of the lake, and nice & cool bedrooms for sleeping (was a hot weekend when we were there). Would definitely stay here again.

This lakeside property was so charming and a perfect getaway! It is in a great location and close to many stores and downtown. It was a great house for our girl's weekend and will for sure be back again for a longer stay!

Very relaxing place with beautiful views, but house definitely needs TLC. Lots of things not available for use as balcony in bedroom, due to shotty roof, patio was torn off in tv room and floors uneven and wood coming up. But it was still a wonderful stay and we spent a lot of time in enjoying the outdoor covered area.

Thanks for your kind words. You should really view the pictures as shown in our ad. 1. Never shown we had a balcony off the upstairs bedroom. 2. The flat roof you called shotty is brand new. 3. Our patio, tv room is not torn off, we call it a deck and it was replaced with a pergola. Sliding glass doors were left on for viewing of the lake . Sorry we disappointed you, but we can't give you what we don't have. Older homes, by the way, don't always have perfect floors.

Though an older house, it appeared to be in the midst of a longer term renovation. The main floor updated, as was the upstairs bathroom, the three bedrooms were comfortable and comfortable. Nice neighborhood, very nice lake views, and very nice sitting area overlooking the lake.The house was much roomier than I expected. We enjoyed our stay and would rent again if we were in the area.

There is no lake access. Many areas outside are under repair or patched together. It needs to be finished for guests to enjoy.

Thank you for your comments. Lake access was never mentioned in our listing. We are presently in the process of implementing a dock and swim area, but improvements are under way.

Everything went smoothly for check in. House was exactly as advertised, very comfortable and felt like home! Kitchen was very well stocked, beds were very comfy and the view of the lake was lovely! We spent a lot of time sitting under the pergola enjoying the cool breeze!

Great location, beautiful views

Our family needed a place to stay for a family gathering in a nearby town. The location was great and we loved being right on the lake. The living areas/kitchen are very spacious. Beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed. We wished we had more time to just hang out. Communication with the hosts was great. We will definitely stay again!

Baby Shower space

We enjoyed the space as we got ready for a baby shower for my sister. It was comfortable and relaxing. Exactly what we wanted for a girls weekend.

Harp conference

This was an older house that was clean with adequate supplies. Working with the host was easy and prompt. The house could use a little love but was comfortable . Enjoyed the stay.

Great location. Nice property. Everything worked. Could use a TV in each bedroom. Oven needs to be cleaned. I would stay here again

We had a great time together at this house. The house was cozy and had lots of spaces for lounging together which is what we wanted! Beds were comfortable. The yard also had a lovely covered spot with a table where we spent lots of time. The one bummer was that we chose this place for the lake access. The listing failed to share that there was no lake access. It said “lakeside” and “lake view” but didn’t say that we couldn’t get to the lake from the house and that was one of the primary reasons we chose this place. Ironically there was a sign over the windows overlooking the lake that said “Go jump in the lake!” We wished!! We bought a kiddie pool because it was hot before realizing there was no outside water source! It gave us a good story and we cracked up as we bucket-brigaded water from inside to out. But there should be a note in the listing specifying no lake access. Other than that we had a great stay. The instructions were clear. Getting into the house was easy. And as an East-coaster, I appreciated staying in the home of a Yankees fan!
Red tape blocked the stairs to the lake, barring entry.
The stairs and lake level ground were completely overgrown.
Torturous ironic sign telling us to “Go jump in the lake!” If only we could have!

The location of this home on the lake was great. The weather was extremely hot and humid when we were there; however, owner had the house cooled down wonderfully (both upstairs and downstairs). House was clean, well-stocked and tastefully decorated. Would highly recommend to others.Sue
