The house & location were perfect for our one-night getaway. We loved sitting on the front porch watching the fireflies - and the beds are sooo comfy!

Lovely house. Our family group was visiting the area for a funeral and the hosts were very accommodating to our circumstances. Highly recommend.

My husband and I stayed for a few days at this beautifully restored older home. The check-in process was very easy, and the checkout was just as easy. Our host was very accommodating with any questions we had. She answered our texts in a very timely manner. We loved the view of the lake while sitting on the front porch. We would definitely recommend this house to anyone that is looking for a place to stay.

Wonderful Stay

Loved our stay. House was perfect for our 3 day stay. Communication with the owners was very easy. We will definitely stay here the next time we come to Albert Lea!

We were in Albert Lea to ride the bike trails - Fountain Lake and Blazing Star State Park. This home was the perfect fit. We appreciated the coffee and cookies and the front porch was also a treat! We wish the bathroom was a little bigger, but other than that, it was a great stay.

It's a nice house, beautifully restored and centrally located. The front porch is perfect to relax and enjoy the park across the street and watching people fish from the lake shore. The 5 mile walking trail around starts and ends at the house. What a wonderfull way to start or end the day.

A wonderful Winter relaxation

With the temperatures so cold, this property was the perfect place to stay in at. A cozy kitchen that we enjoyed visiting and cooking in, a cozy dining room for our delicious meal, and easy travel to visit local antique businesses and restaurants close by.

Charming Home on the Lake

We were so pleased with finding this hidden gem. Great location! Home is cozy with a genuine feel of a time gone by, but with all of the modern comforts!

Great Stay!

We visited for a golf outing and had a fantastic time! Kathleen was very accommodating and provided clear instructions. We will be back!

Girls Weekend

Spent the weekend in Albert Lea for a girls weekend. This house was perfect for us and so cute! The host was great to work with. Would definitely stay here again.

Home away from home

We stayed here a year ago when we came up to visit family. We enjoyed staying here then so when we were looking for a place to stay we knew where we wanted to stay. The hosts are wonderful people, and so caring. The house is by the lake with wonderful views.!.

Great location.

This house was central to Albert Lea and all that I wanted to do during my stay. I love walking by the lake- so this was ideal!

Nice clean home

The master bed is super comfortable, and the house is clean, freshly refurbished and a short walk to the lake that you can see right out the window.
