The house was spotless, the setting beautiful, the kitchen well-equipped and well-organized. The hosts were cordial and easy to work with to the point of graciously accommodating our request for an early entry. Our entire family enjoyed the stay and wished we could have stayed longer. This is house is definitely on our list for future visits to the mountains.

Very welcoming. We got snowed in on Saturday. But there was plenty to do at the house! Great stay. Highly recommend!

Great space for 8 adults to gather in the open area kitchen, dining table, living room area. Very clean, comfortable and accommodating. The white squirrels outside where so cute.

This was an excellent property for our visit with seven people! We loved the fire pit by the pond and the house/amenities were not only very clean but true to the description. The location of this property in Mountain Home was central to everything we wanted to see North and South. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property! We would definitely stay again!

Our Family had an awesome time staying in this home during our family Christmas trip. Very spacious, very well kept, and very clean. Bedrooms were comfortable. Great scenery around the home. Everything was perfect. Would love to come and stay here again! The host Mike and Lori were very responsive. I have nothing bad to say, Loved our time there

The house was as pictured and was very clean. The well-stocked kitchen was helpful and the comfortable beds and plus towels made the stay great. Our family got to enjoy the fire pit and game room. The road out front can be busy but we didn’t hear the cars. The house is in a flight path for the local airport, but the kids enjoyed watching the planes come in. Excellent hosts and would stay there again if in the area!

Perfect getaway

We loved our time at this property! Perfect spot for a family getaway! Very spacious and upgraded beautifully!! We loved the geese. If you don’t mind, we’d love to know where the towels and duvets are from. Thanks for having us!

A New Favorite

Starting from the outside - Plenty of off-street parking in the long driveway. The back side of the home is well equipped with a large Gas grill which includes a side burner. The back deck is large enough to accommodate a group of adults, it includes an outdoor table and chairs for dining etc. The back yard is massive and rolls down to the fire pit and pond. Several Adirondack chairs ring the fire pit (plenty of split wood on hand as well) a giant shade tree provides a nice spot for picnics etc. Our group of eight adults and two children was very comfortable by the pond. Two fish were caught from the banks of the pond. They were hitting worms and spinners. Immediately inside the house is a large kitchen and lengthy countertop to the R as you enter. The kitchen was fully equipped- two coffee makers, pod and drip. The gas stove and oven were top notch. The living area off the kitchen in an open-design format included plenty of seating and room to move around, watch TV and play games. The adult bedrooms are accessed through hallways off the LR and each one was large and comfortable - an en-suite bathroom in the master. The downstairs has the foosball table and table tennis along with another bedroom with double bunks. A big screen TV is downstairs as well. We enjoyed local sites like the Falls at Pisgah National Forest and the quaint shopping near Lake Lure, where we swam, and enjoyed the water park. An Ingls grocery is nearby. We enjoyed our stay!

The property was perfect for our family gathering and it never felt crowed because of the deck, basement activities, yard and lake chairs. We loved the ability to eat together and used the grill and fire-pit each night. The driveway was long enough for parking. And the beds were very comfortable! The towels and beach towels were of top notch quality! There were so many details that helped us feel very comfortable. Thank you!

We had a great time on our week trip. The house was just as listed, was clean and well kept. It was perfect for our needs. The owner was very responsive if we had any issues. The pond was very small, but lots of fun for fishing. The teenagers spent most of the time playing in the pond and fishing. Adults used the kayak. Everyone enjoyed the game room. The house was not as remote or private as we would have liked, but that was our fault for not looking at the listing more carefully. Airplanes flew overhead many times per day. But with that, we were also very close to Hendersonville and were able to go to our favorite places like McFarlan's bakery, Sierra Nevada, and Bold Rock Brewery. Lots to do around the house! Thank you for sharing your home with us, we thoroughly enjoyed it!!

Home was ideal for a family of 11. Game room was awesome since it rained while we were there but it didn’t damper our trip.
