House & Boathouse

We have set this house up to be very comfortable for family use. The two upstairs bedrooms both have king-sized beds and en-suite bathrooms with Italian tile showers. The main floor bedroom has a queen bed and an Italian tile shower. The basement bedroom is set up as a bunk room with two twin-sized bunks, two trundle beds, and a cast iron tub with a shower. Each room has smart tv and DVD. The kitchen is thoughtfully outfitted and there are gas grills at both the house and the boathouse. The laundry room has a full-sized washer/dryer. The half bath has a copper sink and Rocky Mountain Hardware faucet. All doors are solid hickory with nice hardware. You will love the 'cowboy cauldron fire pit on the boulder patio that overlooks a beautiful setting: horses grazing (the Greystone pastures are adjacent to the house), the campers of Greystone and Mondamin playing in the lake, and both sunrise and sunset views. WE DO NOT OFFER A MOTORBOAT WITH THE HOUSE DUE TO INSURANCE COMPLICATIONS.

We came with our family and friends for Thanksgiving and this was the first time here. The house was absolutely stunning inside and out. The house is fully loaded with everything you need and more. We made so many fun memories together at your beautiful home. We can’t wait to come and stay again, hopefully in the summer time so we can utilize the boathouse a bit more. Spring Break

We love staying at this house. It’s in a great location with plenty to do within walking distance. Water activities for all ages. It’s our fourth time staying here that says it all. We love it.

We are the owners of Camp Greystone, a girls summer camp that has been owned by our family since 1920. We live nearby and bought this house when the previous owner passed away. Extensive renovations were done to make this as perfect a lake cabin as we could imagine. We love it and think you will too.

This home is well situated to enjoy the scenic mountains of Western North Carolina. The lake is wonderful, the views are breathtaking, and there are fantastic walking trails on Apple Hill. We love it here.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

Perched on the side of Apple Hill, you quite literally feel like you are in the trees by the lake. The Nanawall window opens fully to make the living room and screed porch quite literally one room. The quality of the renovation unfolds with each examination: the 10-inch oak plank flooring, the 'nickel gap' paneling, and on, and on.

This boathouse features a kitchen, bathroom, sundeck (with second story jumping platform), swim deck, sand beach, and great water toys (two paddle boards, two kayaks).

As of January 1, 2023, WE DO NOT INCLUDE A MOTORBOAT WITH THE PROPERTY DUE TO INSURANCE COMPLICATIONS. We provide paddle boards, kayaks, and canoes... the perfect way to explore Lake Summit (the house is located near the headwaters of the Green River and three summer camps are an easy paddle away).
