Justin was quick to respond and helpful with answers to questions. Property is clean with updated furnishings. Beds and linens were very comfortable. Our one issue was that the property and the contents smelled of smoke for unclear reasons. When we inquired, Justin was quick to have air and fabric softener delivered. I would recommend a servicing of the home to try to rid the environment of the smoky smell for future enjoyment. Overall, a nice stay!

Hi Nancy, we are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay, but are sorry to hear about the smoke smell. We are a non-smoking property, but do have a wood burning fireplace that can sometimes leave a faint smoke smell in the house if not used properly by previous guests. That said, we've taken immediate action to remedy the situation. We've installed an air purifier with a carbon filter that specializes in removing smoke odor, replaced all the air filters in the house, cleaned out the fireplace of any old ash, and continue to monitor the situation. We want to ensure every guest's stay is nothing short of perfect and hope to host you again in the future. Take care!

We had a very chill weekend at this retreat. I have two little ones and they had everything we needed (baby gates, small utensils, etc). They were pretty well stocked on the essentials. Good location as well. We had a blast!

This house has a great lay out and fit our group of 7 perfectly. The home was clean and had everything that was needed. Our host was always timely courteous with communication. We would definitely like to come back and stay again.

Overall good stay - just stayed the weekend while visiting family in the area so just needed a place to sleep and have breakfast. Did not use the resort at all. Clean, adequately stocked kitchen for a short stay.

Great communication with the host! The house was very small child friendly - we had 4 grandchildren along, 4 years and younger. Loved finding baby gates, high chair and pack n plays in addition to all the big people necessities.

Graduation

Great location for any event at JMU - only about 20 minutes away. House was extremely clean and exactly as pictured. Communication with Justin was excellent. They were very accommodating. Would definitely stay there again.

Family weekend

The property was very well appointed and as shown in the photos. It was very convenient to get to the slopes for skiing and tubing. We didn’t make it to the waterpark but that was even closer. The home had everything we needed and the owners were very responsive to any questions we had!

We Enjoyed the home

The house was perfect for our stay. The only issue we had is we could not get the fire pit to work and that was a major part of our interest in the home. Other than that it went very well

The perfect getaway

We spent a weekend with friends and family at this beautiful house. It's in a great location on the Massanutten property. The owners were very helpful and responsive throughout the whole process. The game area in the basement gives the adults some space from the kids and the back porch is the best place to enjoy a cup of tea in the morning. I would definitely like to visit again!

One of the best we have ever stayed at!!

This home is newly renovated and up to date. It provides everything you normally have to buy….toilet paper, paper towels, soap, shampoo, etc….It was the cleanest house we have ever rented. Beautiful, and the owners Justin answered every one of my emails quickly and professionally. I highly recommend this home for anyone traveling to Massanutten. Thank you…

Beautiful Getaway

We had a large family getaway and this was the perfect house for us. The house was very well stocked when we arrived. We did not have to buy any supplies. The dog treats were a nice surprise that our dog loved. A lot of attention to detail was given to ensure a nice relaxing stay. The communication was also excellent. I would certainly consider staying here again in the future.

Family vacation

We enjoyed our stay in this house! It was spacious and well-designed, offering enough room for everyone to spread out and enjoy their own space while still coming together comfortably for family time. One of the standout features was the game room – the foosball table and arcade games were a huge hit with both the kids and adults, keeping everyone entertained. The location couldn't have been better. All the activities and attractions we wanted to visit were conveniently nearby, making our outings stress-free and enjoyable. We were able to balance relaxation with adventure perfectly. Another highlight was the host's communication. From the booking process to checking in and during our stay, they were incredibly responsive and helpful. We had a fantastic time and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to stay with a perfect mix of fun, convenience, and excellent service.

Awesome Time Great Memories

Whenever we stay anywhere, we always look for quality in three areas: the host, the accommodations, and the surrounding activities. First, I will say that our host was perfect. They were attentive to our needs and responded promptly whenever we had questions or needed help resolving an issue. They made us feel welcome in the space we rented and made sure we knew where everything was in the house. Secondly, the accommodations were perfect. The house was spacious, clean, and entertaining. Our kids especially loved the room and space in the basement which boasted arcade and board games that provided hours of entertainment. Lastly, the location was beautiful, and the mountains' view made it much more inviting. Another awesome thing about this house is there is a whole shopping community about 7.5 miles down the road so you can find restaurants, grocery stores, malls, and any other store you may need. What's more is less than a couple of miles from the property is a pool but if you want something a little more you can go to the water park that is located right down the street from the pool. You will definitely have plenty to keep the family busy during your stay. I would recommend this property to anyone who is looking for a perfect mix of privacy and entertainment mixed in with surrounding beautiful scenery.
