Location was perfect for our stay. Shops and restaurants all in walking distance. Place was smaller than expected but cozy. It was fine for a 2 day stay. Well stocked

Kristen's property is a great place to stay if you are visiting Wellsboro. It is very clean and well stocked. She also keeps in touch to make sure your stay is going well. Her property is a great location. You can walk to all of the stores and restaurants in town. It is just a short ride to the Grand Canyon to take in the sights there. This is our second time to stay at Fountainview and we would definitely stay there again.

I stay here quite often. Really nice, cozy place right in the middle of everything! You cannot find a better place to enjoy Wellsboro, plus it's easy access to hiking, biking, star gazing!

We really enjoyed our stay at Fountain View 1. The historic building on the town square was picture perfect all dressed up in its Fall decorations. It was functional, well furnished, and comfortable. All of the small touches Kristen added made for a very pleasant stay. There were extra blankets, a fresh scrubbing sponge, coffee, tea, and cookies, a welcome note with tips about local places to visit, books and games, local art on the walls, and a scrapbook about the history of the building. The town itself is charming with several good restaurants, and a variety of shops, all within a short walk from the lodging. Leonard Harrison State Park is a short drive away and affords a breathtaking view of the Pine Creek Gorge from the overlook trail. Taughannock Falls State Park is also nearby and is a must-see because of its 215 foot waterfall which is the highest single drop waterfall east of the Rockies. We had a fantastic stay and I will be recommending the Fountain View to my friends!

The property is in the perfect location to walk to all of the restaurants and shops on Main Street and the secondary streets in Wellsboro. The beds were comfortable and the amenities were well stocked. I would definitely recommend this property if you are staying in Wellsboro.

Great Location near Restaurants and bars

Had a wonderful time in wellsboro the fountain view was a great place to stay. The park with the Fountain was beautiful and it was within walking distance to the restaurants

This was our first visit to Wellsboro and Fountain View was the perfect home base. We explored nearby hikes in and through the PA Grand Canyon and returned to a place that was steps away from everything in town. It was great to be able to have dinner and drinks just a short walk away.Kristen was an awesome host and responded to all our questions in minutes. We will be definitely be back!

I love this place, it’s at the best location along the park. It’s always so clean and tidy and welcoming. The host is the best. I’ve stayed here many times.

Best Location

Love staying at the Fountain View. Right on the Green and convenient to everything. The place is so comfortable and has everything I need. I’ve stayed here many times.

Great stay in Wellsboro! The house was well appointed and comfortable. It had everything we needed and was in a super location! The town of Wellsboro is charming and everything was in walking distance from the house. It was our base for hiking in the Grand Canyon of PA - an incredible place. I would definitely want to stay here again when I come back to this beautiful area.

Fountain View stay

Very clean and comfortable. Wonderful location in walking distance of shops, and easy drive to so many beautiful state parks.

Best spot on the green

Great location! Was able to walk into town easily for meals. We had a blast exploring town and Tioga State Forest. Art on the walls is for sale too.

Location, location, location. Lovely to step right out on to the Green. Communication was excellent. It is an old school district office building, so keep in mind the bedrooms were once offices, but it is much roomier than any hotel. Beds are very comfortable. The shower is on the small size, and there wasn’t a place to hang up dress clothes. I appreciate the no pet rule. Sitting on the front porch and listening to town church chimes and watching the fountain was a treat. There really is no place like Wellsboro.

Awesome place

This is a great place to stay and for me the best was very comfortable beds and this is a rarity. The view is of the Central Park. Sit on the little front porch and have your coffee😎👍
