Amazing property and vacation home. Host was helpful and prompt answering any questions/concerns. We love this spot and will hopefully be back to stay again.

This place was the perfect hub for the four of us. This house had everything we didn't know we needed. The location, the amenities, and even the fresh popcorn was exactly what we needed to make our trip extra memorable. We instantly felt relaxed and refreshed the minute we arrived. You can tell that the hosts of this property put alot of thought into all the tiny details. We greatly appreciate it. We can't wait to visit again.

Kitchen was fully equipped for cooking. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing. Host was very accommodating. We enjoyed every aspect of staying here. Would definitely come back.

Perfect place for a gathering. Open floor concept upstairs perfect for intentional time together. Beautiful back porch overlooking river. A few minutes walk from a park with a lovely waterfall. I couldn't ask for a better stay.

They have thought of everything! All the small touches from candy to popcorn to fishing poles. Everything you need to enjoy this property is here. We were from out of state and had many local visitors the whole trip. There were things for everyone to enjoy. Will definitely be back!

Beautiful river side property

This is one of the most nicely appointed homes we have stayed in. From the kitchen to the guest rooms the hosts have your needs covered, whether your time is spent indoors or outdoors. Located on the N.Clark Co.Scenic route, the property is a perfect jumping off spot to enjoy the trails and falls along the Lewis River, the nearby historic Cedar Creek Grist Mill and more.

Great weekend bridal shower retreat

We stayed at this rental for a bridal shower weekend. There was plenty of room for everyone, games to keep everyone entertained, a gorgeous river view and wildlife, and great firepit spot. Just a note the driveway is steep and a sharp curve so go slow! Everyone loved the location and the host was most helpful. I will definitely book this place again!

Family weekend

The home is spotless clean, cute and cozy. The road is close, but the river drowns that noise out pretty much. Very short distance to Lucia falls and Moulton falls… easy walks with the dogs. We loved having two living room areas. The family had fun watching movies, making popcorn and the fire pits. The hot tub was amazing. A lovely home!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Haven. Clean, comfortable, relaxing. Some reviews mention the street noise, and while it exists, it didn’t take away from the property at all. We still enjoyed sitting outside on the deck, or soaking in the huge hot tub, nor did it impact our ability to sleep. The kitchen is full of cooking supplies and laid out logically. We also enjoyed the air hockey and games galore! They also had fishing gear, s’more making supplies, inner tubes and a host od other family friendly activities available….perfect for a family getaway! Honestly, one of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. One thing to be aware of, but by no means a criticism or reason to avoid renting this property: the driveway is very steep right as you turn off the road, so make sure to slow down and put your signal on early to let drivers behind you know you’re turning. Rent this place with confidence. Communication with Marianne was excellent, as well. Five stars from us!

Beautiful house with lovely location

This house was beautifully set up with so many amenities for our stay. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for the 6 of us. The road next to the property could be a little loud at times but the beautiful sound from the river helped. I loved sitting out on the deck in the morning with my coffee from their awesome coffee bar in the kitchen. One of the bedrooms upstairs had a queen sized bed with a trundle pull out bed for our toddler. He appreciated being close to us at night since it was a new place. I communicated with the owner a couple of times and they were very gracious. We were attending a wedding and needed to iron our clothes, when I couldn't find the iron the owner had one brought over to us right away. Very nice place, we would love to stay here again!

The house itself was great, and we enjoyed our stay overall. I had previously informed the host that we would be celebrating a birthday. After checkout, the host contacted me regarding a damaged storage lock in one of the bedrooms. At the time, I was unaware of any damage and communicated that honestly. The initial response from the host felt accusatory and dismissive, as if I had knowingly caused or concealed the issue and I would not be able to rent again. Upon investing further, a teen guest had been tampering with the lock. I apologized and of course will pay for the lock. The teen will be held accountable. I believe this situation could have been handled with more understanding and open communication. I would have appreciated the opportunity to explain and resolve the issue before being denied future stays especially my willingness to take responsibility and ensure it would not happen again.

Thank you destiny for your feedback. Feedback, in most instances, is truly a gift! In this particular instance, you were asked what happened to the lock? You, stated, "nothing you are aware of." Which is unfortunate, as the lock, after the picking attempt, was left inoperable. We do not rent again, to those that attempt theft or have melicious intent, as I am sure most all hosts would agree. We wish you and your children the very best, with all your future rentals.
