This beautiful 4 bedroom, 2 bath home has its own private pool and is a short walk to popular Tybee restaurants and, of course, the beach. With so much space, Sunrise House is an ideal home for a weekend getaway with the whole family, reunions or a destination wedding.

The spacious, open living area works well for casual entertaining, and allows everyone to be together while cooking or just lounging. The large, screened-in porch is great for morning coffee or evening drinks, and has ample seating for guests. The interior is decorated with a theme of sand, sky, and water, and will have in beach vacay mode in no time!

The first of four bedrooms has a comfortable Queen sized bed. The primary bedroom features a luxurious King size bed and en suite bathroom with a shower and tub combination. The third bedroom upstairs has two sets of bunk beds, perfect for kids! The second full bathroom is also located upstairs. Downstairs you’ll find the fourth bedroom, with a Queen size bed, ample space, and private access.

Amazing stay

The house was amazing and the location couldn’t be better. The host was also amazing and communicated efficiently! Would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking to visit Tybee. Our family is very thankful.

Great house.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was great. Would suggest some extra chairs for the kitchen table. Also a few storage bowls for when someone cooks. A light near the pool would be great also. Besides these small things the house was comfortable and relaxing.

Great House!

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Loved location, comfortable beds, and nice to have a small yard/with a pool. The rooms were all spacious and tons of sleeping spots. The water heater did hold up with 9x girls and showering. The bathrooms/furniture/kitchen could be updated as some of the tile is broken/rusty in the bathrooms with missing shelves/rods. No beach towels, the basement is musty, and the dishwasher doesn’t work. We contacted the mgmt for towels on Saturday morning and still didn’t get them until Sunday afternoon after some of our guests had already left and only 1x dish towel in the kitchen. We also found some dog poop in the backyard and the pool didn’t look like it had been cleaned in a while (full of seeds and bugs at the bottom/top of water). I just expected a little bit nicer of a place for the cost of the property.

House needs TLC

House has plenty of space for our 9 family memebers. We really enjoyed the spacious screened in front porch and the pool. It did seem as though the house is a litte neglected with broken shelf at the front door, a picture that had fallen and leaned against the wall, springs on the bunk bed mattresses to name a few things. House could also use a deep clean.

Beds were very comfortable and appreciated the number and quality of the linens. Pool was refreshing--I think it is about 8x16 ft. Screened it porch lovely.Some minor painting would make the property appear cleaner. New toaster is needed and washing machine is very loud and vibrates. The people who sleep downstairs can hear everyone walking about upstairs. We would definitely recommend this property.

nightmare vacation

This house was much smaller than it appeared in the original pictures. The company has since posted new pictures which somewhat show it's small size. We couldn't even all sit together for our meals. The kitchen was not adequately stocked with things to prepare meals, there was not even a mixing bowl to use. For a family of ten there was a pot and a pan. The toaster was broken and only toasted one side of the bread at a time. The front right large stove eye was broken upon arrival and couldn't be used. The other large eye didn't seem to heat up adequately. The smaller eyes seemed to be fine but weren't practical for our large meals. The garbage disposal broke on the 2nd day leaving us with only one side of the sink available and the other stopped up until the property manager repaired it the following day. The main bathroom toilet was stopped up and required attention several hours of our 2nd day, turns out a previous guest flushed a vape down the toilet. The water in the shower seemed to have only 2 temps, cold or scalding hot. The swimming pool was not beautiful and blue as the pictures suggested, it was gray and old with age. at first glance we thought it was algae, the entire pool looked gray/black instead of the beautiful clear blue the pics advertised. We had to request dish soap and dishwasher packs as there weren't enough left to sustain us for 7 days. We brought our own toilet paper as well, there was none at the house. Last but not least ROACHES everywhere.

Great place close to everything!

This place was perfect for my bachelorette trip! We had 10 girls and there was plenty of sleeping and lounge space for all of us to be together. The pool outside was amazing and clean. We were so close to the beach, restaurants, and night life. I highly recommend this property and will definitely book again!

Plenty of space for everyone and we really enjoyed the outdoor areas. The pool was a huge hit! We used it every night and some days. The pool company serviced it twice a week which was perfect. We were a very short walk from the beach and pier. Close to restaurants and bars. Great time overall, would rent again!

Do not recommend. Very run down and unkept.

The entire property is run down and the outdoor spaces are so unkept they are basically unusable. The lower level bedroom is damp and musty. Internet is so slow that the TVs won’t stream. Broken furniture, poor appliances, etc. Stick with a more reputable management company.

Reviewer Comments: The pictures do not look like the current conditions of the property ; there were broken cabinet doors, holes in the wall, some of the furniture was broken, and the property did not look to have been updated in years. The floor was terribly dirty and the charcoal grill should have been put in the trash. Someone had emptied it beside the grill and left it. The pool was not at all what the picture shows. There was also a LARGE mouse in the outside patio that I finally photographed on the last day and sent it to the rental place. Lastly the TV would only work an hour or 2 a day; technicians did come look at it but said the internet and Wi-Fi was just low grade and nothing could be done. It’s a great location but the property is poorly kept up.

Family mini vacation

It was our first time in Tybee Island and to start with, the weather on our first day was bad and we couldn't do anything nothing to do with our rental. The property sleeping area, kitchen and living room were god. But the amenities said heated pool and the pool was not ready to be used and the gathering area was not clean and was very messy. The pool water was very cold the next day when we try to get in. That made me feel like we were not fully expected. I called the office and the lady that answered the phone and my messages asking how to turn the pool heater was very nice and polite...until she couldn't get a response from the property manager and age didn't answer anymore or called me back. It was disappointing because our kids were looking forward to get in the pool. The little private pool was the main reason we rented the place. I hope they get better prepared for their next guests. That could make a huge difference.

Solid beach spot

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed at the Sunrise Cottage for a week in August 2022. The good - easy check-in, check-out. Responsive host company. Location is nice on the south end of the island, two blocks from the beach, close to restaurants, shopping, etc. House interior was clean with plenty of towels. Having the pool was nice for the kids to jump in and relax a bit. Has plenty of space with 3 queen beds, 4 bunks and all the beds were surprisingly comfortable. Also the garage space was nice to pull the car out of the sun. Air conditioning definitely worked well (which was important as it was very hot out). Having laundry was key and the kitchen had plenty of materials if you want to cook. Screen door was broken when we showed up and a they sent a repairman out early the next day on Sunday (we showed up late in the day on Saturday)The not as good - pictures with listing are at least several years old, the landscaping is overgrown and the house and pool are in need of a refresh. The backyard is not grass but turf. None of this is all that problematic for a beach cottage, but don't expect exactly what you see in the pictures. The vent in the guest bath ceiling had mold around it. Only came with 2 rolls of toilet paper and we had to call and request more. The WiFi was not good - if you need to connect for any work activity, better have your own hotspot. WiFi also was very spotty trying to use the TV to watch Netflix or other apps on the Roku TV when we sat down to relax at the end of the night. Overall, a positive experience and would recommend if you are looking for an affordable beach pad that gives you the basics that could use some TLC. Just temper your expectations a bit based on the photos.

The inside of the house was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked. We had plenty of room for our family. The outside front porch needs a little TLC and the screen replaced but other than that it was nice. The pool was small but perfect for a quick dip to cool off. Overall, a great experience!

Unforseen accident

We got to the property and everything was great. The next day we had a family emergency and had to leave. Our nephew was killed in a tragic accident. We contacted the owners of the property to let them know what happened but would not refund our money. I understand there are policies but this was a tragic unforseen accident. This was something we never saw coming. Not sure if I will ever use them again.

Perfect location and fabulous stay!

Location location location! You cannot beat the location of this house. We walked everywhere- stores, restaurants, the beach is just a quick 3-5 minute walk. The house was great- the porch and pool were our favorites. Such a great house with space for everyone to hang together and plenty of space to spend time alone. It’s a beach house so there is some wear and tear but the decorating etc is perfect: The kitchen needs more pots and pans etc but there are so many great restaurants to walk to that it wasn’t an issue. Would definitely stay here again.

The third adult bedroom is actually a dark, cramped, room located in the downstairs garage. The room had very poor electrical outlets as well as poor insect control. The house and especially the downstairs had not been cleaned very well prior to our arrival. The small pool and walking distance to the beach was nice.
