Wonderful property located close to the state parks in Ithaca and the wineries and breweries along Cayuga Lake. The view of the lake from the house was so enjoyable. The property is private, peaceful and very clean and we hope to be back someday!

What an amazing home! We loved our time here. We used the kayaks on a beautiful morning and enjoyed the views while sipping coffee . we look forward to our next stay here. Jennifer was so attentive and helpful.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful and very well appointed home. Our hosts were extremely responsive to any and all of our needs, providing a wonderful get away with family for a few days. The view was gorgeous and kayaking on the lake was the perfect end to a fun-filled day in and around Ithaca. Thank you very much, Jennifer!

Communications with our host were excellent. The spacious kitchen was well-appointed with every dish and cooking utensil we needed. The view of the lake and deer in the backyard were added bonuses.

The property was wonderful. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the kitchen was stocked with everything you could possibly need. We appreciated the plentiful linens, the variety of pillows and blankets, and the great water pressure with multiple showerheads. We loved taking our paddleboards out on the lake, relaxing by the fire pit, and waking up to the beautiful lake view. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, will definitely be back, and highly recommend this property.

Home was lovely, clean and the view beautiful. The kitchen was very well stocked and the master bedroom and bathroom very nice. It is a lovely property for those who have no mobility issues as the driveway is steep and the access from the property to the lake is also challenging. In addition, be aware that there is an active train track between the home and the lake, and you can get caught on the lake side of the train as it stayed stopped for a while.

The house and location were very good. The pictures were a little deceiving of the proximity of the dock, not showing the steps and beach area. The house was very nice, area in a great location to state parks, hiking and wineries.

We loved our long weekend at Simply Irresistible! Jennifer was very helpful and responsive to our questions. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner. Watching the chipmunks, squirrels, ground hog, deer, ducks, and raccoons from the living room windows was delightful, and the sound of the water was therapeutic. The beds were comfortable and the spaces welcoming and cozy. We fished from the dock and enjoyed an incredible sunset. It is super convenient to Ithaca, making it a great staging place for our first visit to Apple Fest and a relaxing get-away for our daughter. We will definitely try to book again!

Simply Irresistible was impeccably clean, easy to get in and out of, and all around the BEST place we have rented yet! We loved it so much that we are going to attempt to book it again for next summer's vacation, and add a few more days on if possible. Jennifer was easy to get ahold of, and responded promptly! Beautiful view and very well appointed kitchen with all the appliances and utensils needed. The heater and AC are a bit confusing, but we finally figured out that there’s a unit on the floor.

We had a great stay. The home was very comfortible. Everything you could need was there. Fantastic kitchen for cooking. The view from the kitchen, living room and master bedroom were incredible. We sat outside twice. It was very peaceful. There is a great fire pit area. The road in is a little rough, but we do okay with our low clearance sedan If we vacation back in this area, we would definitely check on its availability.

Beautiful property and location was perfect, a short drive to Ithaca but far enough away for a big dose of peace and tranquility. When we return to this area, this will be our first choice to stay at.

Lake view relaxation

The property is comfortable, an easy drive from Ithaca and natural attractions. The lake views were lovely and our weather was exceptional. We enjoyed our stay!

This is a lovely, well-maintained cottage in a quiet area on the shore of Cayuga Lake just north of Myers Point. My wife and I have enjoyed brief retreats here (from 3 to 6 days) many of the past 5 or 6 years. Always a great time!
