The Hi Desert Onyx sits on a beautiful 2.5 acres with over 20 Joshua trees throughout the property & is the perfect setting to disconnect & recharge.

Take in the beautiful sunrise & sunsets, mountain views & the EPIC night sky while stargazing. We've made this an oasis for you to escape the daily hustle & bustle with outdoor amenities like a cowboy pool, hot tub, hammock swing, BBQ & horseshoes.

Guest access
Guest will have access to the entire property except the detached garage that will remain locked. The entire property is fenced in.

Other things to note:

🜂 Additional guests are not permitted on the property beyond those included in your rental agreement unless you request and receive permission from us. That includes day guests and overnight guests.

🜂 We are dog friendly ($75 pet fee), but we ask that our fur friends are not on the furniture. Please let us know at the time of booking if you will be bringing your dog. If your dog leaves any stains or damage behind then the damage will be assessed and charges will incur.

🜂 We have a septic system so it's important that you put NOTHING except toilet paper into the toilet

🜂 Please plan to bring your own firewood if you would like to use the fire pit. We highly recommend purchasing firewood locally to prevent the spread of disease that can be found in wood outside our area.

🜂 No smoking in or outside of property

🜂 Please note that the desert landscape, while beautiful, can be harsh and unforgiving. Many of the plants in our yard and throughout the area have sharp thorns and tips including gorgeous Joshua Trees. Use extreme caution when you or your animals are enjoying the yard or the area in general.

🜂 The Hi Desert Onyx is in a lightly-populated, quiet rural area. As such, sound travels quite far in the desert air, particularly at night. Please be respectful of our local neighbors and refrain from loud noises outside after 10pm or before 7am.

🜂 Cowboy pool is seasonal. Available April - November

🜂 Hot tub and Cowboy Pool - legal - Guest agrees to release, indemnify, hold harmless and forever discharge Host and Host's employees, agents, successors and assigns from any and all claims, liabilities or causes of action of any kind that guest, members of guest's household or guest's guests or invitees may have at any time against Host or Host's agents resulting from guest's use of the hot tub and cowboy pool.

🜂 POWER OUTAGES
Yucca Valley has extreme weather patterns. If a power outage occurs, we cannot be held liable. We have a flash light and lantern should you need it in the kitchen.
