The abundance of natural light throughout the house creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal for your family or to entertain guests. Great amenities: lakeside patio with a fire pit and provided firewood, five Adirondack chairs, gas grill and Blackstone flattop, four bikes, two kayaks, and two standup paddleboards for guest use. Bring Your Boat and use our dock! Whether you're a nature enthusiast or simply seeking tranquility, this lakefront property offers the perfect retreat!

Relaxing weekend at the lake

This was a very cute and comfortable spot to stay while visiting friends in Madison. Clean and beautiful view of the lake. Used the kayaks provided for a relaxing paddle. We would stay here again. Great restaurant within walking distance.

Great house near lake and trails

We stayed at this property for a weekend in the summer. It was nice to be right on the water, and the neighbors were all quiet and nice. One neighbor has a beautiful garden that attracts birds and makes for a relaxing spot for morning coffee. The location is ideal for anyone looking to bike. There is a great trail next to the house that goes to downtown Madison.

Not worth the high price

Ultimately our guests had a nice stay, but it was rough going and required a lot of persistence and many phone calls on their part. Upon arrival there was no exterior motion light; they were unable to clearly locate the digital door code. The realtor box was very visible so they kept trying that and finally resorted to climbing thru a window. They indicated that the front porch felt unsafe – the floor, the porch stones, and the handrail were unstable. The handrail ‘topper’ was not attached and kept falling off. In daylight our guests noticed that the grass was very tall and had not been mowed. While it was advertised as available, the pier was stacked up in the backyard. The condition of the backyard was a huge disappointment. Our guests made several calls and finally convinced a crew to come over and make the property “guest ready.” The lawn furniture was rusted and broken. There was a former garden with a brick edging that was not apparent and one of our guests twisted an ankle. Our guests found the interior decor to be pleasant. They suggested that all the vents were in need of cleaning along with the floors. There was a typo on the sign for the WiFi password. In terms of checking out, there was no clear listing of expectations. For the price we paid, I am quite disappointed (and embarrassed) in this property. I will not be recommending it.
