Great location, great host! She helped us get checked in, happened to be walking her dog as we drove up & she helped us find the cabin & make sure we had everything we needed. This cabin is so peaceful & quiet, definitely worth booking here.

Sharon is a great host and the place is very nice, the only drawback is the lack of WiFi, however, all you need to do is drive a little way to the main road and you can pick it up. This was our second time at the cottage and we plan to return again because it is such a great place with beautiful surroundings. Thanks, Sharon

It was a great place to stay beautifully. Secluded clean, comfortable, even got to deal with a small baby bat all in all a great weekend.

Beautiful Cabin

Oregon Coast Getaway

A very nice cabin, very secluded and peaceful. Very close to all that the Oregon Coast has to offer near Reedsport. We hope to return sometime.

Quiet and peaceful

The cabin definitely met my expectations. It provided the quiet and tranquility that i was looking for. Its a beautiful area and I would highly recommend it.

The cabin was perfect. It was so nicely decorated, and comfortable. We spent many hours just sitting on the porch, listening to the sounds of nature. It was so peaceful. I highly recommend it.

Quiet, peaceful corner of Oregon

Very quiet cottage in the woods. Directions are clear and simple (download them before you lose cell service), and the cabin is well-equipped. Perfect little spot off the main coastal routes.

Perfect getaway

An amazing place to disconnect and relax. The local deer and other animals make regular appearances. Could not have asked for a better retreat.

Definitely Cozy and Off the Grid

Overall, a very good stay for us. It was definitely an experience living without TV or internet. The rainy weather made it nice for watching a movie, by a nice warm fire in the woodstove.

Like a postcard! Beautuliful cabin in the most picturesque setting.Bunnies chasing each other in the front yard every morning to watch while sipping your coffee. Stunning sunsets. If you are looking to unplug and reconnect with yourself, family, or a good book look no further this is the place. Thank you Sharon for sharing your piece of heaven with us.

Nice and secluded and a nice trail that meanders through the property. The clean interior makes up for exterior spiderwebs and spiders that could use a cleaning and wipe down.

Peaceful retreat.

Clean and cozy cabin, close to all of the recreation in the area. Feels worlds away from everything. Spent time on the front porch doing nothing but staring at nature. The owls at night were a treat.

Peaceful Getaway

I had a lovely time alone at Sharon’s CozyCattail Cabin. It was so peaceful and quiet. I don’t believe I’ve ever experienced silence like that before. It was so silent, in fact, I honestly thought I was loosing my hearing at one point. There was no cell service on the property, which I loved. It really gave me an opportunity to disconnect and become one with all that is. The cabin and all of the woodwork was just stunning; from the flooring, to the bed frames, to the window frames and the artwork. I have a new appreciation for wood, especially myrtle wood. The place was clean; the bed upstairs is super comfy. It was a pleasure meeting the deer and her fawn. As I was leaving, she met me at the exit to give me a last goodbye. So sweet. I am very grateful for the experience and the space to experience such a tranquil retreat! Thank you, Sharon!

Awe inspiring location.

Being from Tucson Arizona, we were looking for a cool, quiet, and deeply forested getaway for summer. We were not disappointed. The cabin was very nice inside and out and well provided with all the amenities. The location was just what we were hoping for: deep old growth forest with very private roads to walk mornings and evenings. We were also able to make several nice days trips. But the highlight of our stay was just to relax on the porch and enjoy the wildlife. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for quiet and privacy and nature.

Second stay as wonderful as the first

This was our second time staying at the Cozy Cattail, and hopefully not our last. The nature around the cabin is unparalleled and so beautiful and soothing. I love that the cabin has such wonderful natural light and a great view. The new mattress pad was also pretty comfortable—a nice addition! With no wifi or cable, traffic sounds or streetlights, it’s a perfect writer’s retreat and a great place to refresh the mind and connect with nature and each other.
