Park your boat where you sleep during your stay! Ice machine on the premises! This Houseboat features a roomy open living room and Kitchen plan with high ceilings and a cozy porch for relaxing, dining and drinking against a lovely cypress backdrop. Sleeps 7! All of the beds are Full-Size, baby soft, and the 7th bed is in the Loft. Enjoy the Marina Madness and come back to the neat, clean Cypress Cove for some essential R&R!

Perfect camp for hunting/fishing trip

Nice spot in cypress cove marina. Great spot to hunt/fish out of. Nick was accommodating and very helpful both before and during our stay!

Fun place

Fun place for me and my son. Wanted a lot of money on groceries before got there expecting to be able to cook. Oven and cooktop did not work and there was no internet.

Dirty property

The house boat has potential if it was clean. Dirt on everything, floors looked like a barn yard. The wasp nest on porches were everywhere and I for one am allergic to them. Also the couches are worn out and shower is absolutely the worst. A full grown person can’t even stand up and move in that small of a shower. I will never stay here again. I hope you refund my cleaning fee as you said you were going too

Dirty and hot

This house boat was dirty when we arrived. The floors were dirty and there was spiders and cob webs throughout the house. The inside corners of the house and around the furniture had heavy amounts of dust and crumbs from a pour job of sweeping. There were a lot of wasp nest around the camp that we had to get rid of ourselves so we could safely even get into the camp. This camp only has one small bathroom with a tiny shower which had a broken shower door which was covered with a shower curtain and made it hard to enter the shower. The house did not cool properly and we were instructed not to turn the thermostat down past 70degrees which made for an uncomfortable night sleep. The house had poor water pressure as well. There are much better places to stay in this area for the price. We will not be staying here again.

Great place on water

Overall, it was a great stay and we were just in and out for a quick one day fishing trip. Host was great to communicate with. Fishing guide can pick you up at house which was nice and dropped us off after refueling. This was for inshore fishing. Great back porch view of peaceful Cypress trees and wildlife. Overall great value.

Excellent for a weekend fishing trip

This is exactly what we were looking for, made for a great 4 day fishing trip. Beds are very comfortable! Would recommend.

Great tile and great place.

Pretty much exactly what was listed was there. Beautiful view from the bad deck and comfortable beds. The property manager was VERY quick to respond to any questions I had before staying. We would definitely stay here again.

Great boat house

Very convenient and it accommodated our boat. Couldn't get the oven to work and the dish rv. But overall great stay. Loved that all the beds were full size! Will definitely come back.

What a Trip!!!! WOW!!!

We had a great time at the Osprey Lodge & with Osprey Charters. The house was very nice & at the very end of the docks and so we got to see all the boats came in (bring bug spray). It was perfect for all of us. We went out for a bay fishing trip the first day and had a great time. Kyle was the best captain. The next day we went off shore in the bigger boat, it was a blast. We all had a great time. We got to have Kyle again and Roman, his mate. They did such an amazing job(seriously, thanks guys). There was actually 4 big bean bags for us to relax on...OMG...they were the best. I’ve never had a more fun relaxing fishing trip. After we fished we enjoyed watching all the other boats unload their catches...that was cool. We won’t forget this trip. Wish we could of stayed longer.

Perfect weekend stay

Love being right on the water and I docked my boat on the side of the house. Nice place all around. Hand fed a small alligator we named JJ.

Tuna Trip

Place was great. Clean with comfortable beds and a great porch. Large ice maker on porch allowed us to fill our coolers to ice fish and beer down without ever leaving the dock. Paradise outfitters picked us up straight from the porch. 10/10

Great time in Venice

This houseboat was very clean and had plenty of room for 6 of us. The location was great for both guided trips we took, one out of Venice Marina and one that literally picked us up from our dock at Cypress Cove. 10/10 overall!

Good and bad

First time here but keep my boat in Venice and been fishing there 20+ yrs. Nice camp for 6 people or less - loved location at end of pier where we could tie up 3 boats. We had a GREAT time but were disappointed ice machine/freezer did not work and shower had less water flow/pressure than bathroom sink faucet. We brought a garden hose and most of us took our showers outside on pier thanks to the warm June weather ! Front porch with fans was very nice !!

First trip to Venice

We took our first fishing trip to Venice pulling our own boat from WI. The accommodations, location, and contact with Leslie were perfect. We will definitely be re-booking next year.
