This is a lovely property and home. Jill, the property manager was attentive and prompt. The only caveat is the house sits up on the hill and it’s many steps to and from the beach. Other than that, it is a spectacular place to spend time with loved ones!

Exceptional property with an incredible location! Beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels. Everything was super clean upon arrival and communication witht the host was prompt and thorough. The kitchen was well stocked.We were a family of 16 that had plenty of space and found ourselves gathering in the game room and theater every night of our stay.Highly recommend and would stay here again.

The house is amazing! There is something for everyone to enjoy. The basement is like a full arcade- movie theater-and spa. There are a lot of stairs to the lake but it is also very nice down around the beach area. The house was stocked with trash bags paper towels and toilet paper. Jim and Jill responded to all our questions and were so helpful! We would definitely recommend this house for a large family.

Due to the spring weather the beach and lakefront would only allow walking as there was no beach- the house facilities were really outstanding- the adults and kids loved the basement play room and all the games, the theater room was outstanding- steam rooms and work out area was well used- incredible property-

We were a group of 20 ages 3 - 73. Our stay was perfect, even the weather provided perfect days. The main home is very well supplied with paper towel, bath tissue, laundry soap, dish soap, etc. This exceeds expectations from previous short term rentals we have had. We were greeted by the host upon arrival, given a tour with demonstrations for using the electronic devices, lighting, tvs, gaming systems, which was extremely helpful. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. The Carriage house was not as well stocked with kitchen essentials as the main house, but we did all the cooking in the main house. We utilized every amenity with out any dissappointment. The biggest challenge is the walk down to the water front, for those with health challenges the water front could not be enjoyed frequently or at all but the house and yard made up for it. The drive way provided hours of enjoyment for bike and scooter riding for the little ones. Excellent property, excellent hosts.

Our group of 19 was comfortable except that the top floor of the carriage house was very warm. All enjoyed the amenities and the pontoon boat. Great place for a large group!

Great place so spend your vacation time with your family and friends!

Very nice house with a dream basement! The gym, the 2 spas, the outside jacuzzi makes everyone happy, also its located only 35 minutes from the Highlands Ski Resort.... This is our 3rd time and definitely will come again.

We had an amazing stay at Mullet Lake! Our extended family20 folks were very comfortable in the main house and the carriage house. Jill and Jim were over the top accommodating and were very happy with everything! The house, lake and boat were all amazing! We will definitely be back! Large Family Reunion

Family Gathering

The property was a wonderful spot for our family of 15 to gather for a week. In spite of bad weather, there were plenty of things to do for all members of our family regardless of age. I would highly recommend the property for large group get togethers.

Loved the amazing lake home! It is beautiful in every way!

Very well maintained and clean... just a fabulous home. It did surprise us though that one had to walk down about 80 steps to the lake. We highly recommend the home.

Stunning First Class Property! Beautiful view

We rented this house for a wedding and were incredible pleased with all aspects of our stay. The house looks exactly as it does in the pictures. And more importantly all the amenities worked during our stay. The sauna, the jacuzzi, the movie room. It was spotless when we arrived both inside and out. There was lots of space for 20 guests who stayed in the house. We would definitely stay again!!

It was okay!

The main house was nice, with plenty of room for everyone. The carriage was not as great- beds were uncomfortable and the bedroom on the top floor was very warm, no matter how low the temperature was set.

I spoke with the owner after seeing your review and we will be adding a mini-split air conditioning unit to the master bedroom on the top floor of the carriage house. We will also be evaluating the mattresses throughout the property and replacing as needed. AMAZING!

This house is amazing and the amenities were over the top! We had so much fun and the game room, pub, hot tub, work out room and theater room provided days of family fun and great memories. The kids and adults will be talking about this trip for a very long time to come. Fantastic home for creating lasting memories.

Michigan Family Fun

We had a wonderful time with our group of 22. We have family members from 2-76! The hosts, Jill and Jim were outstanding and very responsive. The Mullett Lake House has something to offer for everyone! We would be lucky to vacation here again in the future! This was the perfect spot for our family from Arkansas, Kansas, and North Carolina to gather for the week!

Fun trip

Love this property. Truly miss the backyard fire pit and steps surrounding the hot tub, made for great mingling. Nice to have one down by the water but inconvenient. That’s our only complaint.

We were a group of 11 and all Seniors. The rooms were all so interesting as the house was decorated with some beautiful artwork. We took advantage of a fun game room, home theater room, hot tub and pontoon boat! We cruised and fished on Mullet Lake. While staying here we took a day trip to Makinaw Island which was a 40 minute drive to catch the ferry… very convenient!The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. Jill and Jim were very helpful and responsive with any questions we had.The only down side was the steps to the lake but by the end of the week we were all in better shape.

Great time and place for family gathering!!!

House. Awesome. Amenities. Awesome. Communications and responsiveness with managers… superior. Pontoon boat worked out just fine. Great for ages 3-70!!!
