Great house and host

We enjoyed our stay here. The house is very cozy and has all the amenities you need. The host was very communicative. We will stay here again!

My wife and I stayed here with our two dogs for five nights at the end of July to escape the Phoenix heat, and we could not have asked for a better experience.The home is beautifully finished and located in a very quiet neighborhood on the less commercial side of Big Bear, while still being close to everything. It is a wonderful area for long walks with dogs and is less than half a mile from the Pine Knot Trail and Aspen Glen Picnic Area. The Village shops are also only about a mile away. For us, it was the perfect location.We ate breakfast at the Country Kitchen every morning, and everything was delicious. Azteca Grill is also less than a half-mile walk away, and we visited several times for the dog-friendly patio, incredible margaritas, grilled shrimp tacos, and tortilla soup.What surprised us most was how much the property felt like a genuine home rather than a vacation rental. The bedrooms were all nicely appointed, and the primary bedroom was beautifully decorated with a comfortable queen bed. The bathroom featured a large shower with a multi-head rainfall system and a jetted tub.One of our favorite features was the large deck and hot tub. We spent a lot of time outside enjoying the cooler weather, relaxing on the deck, and soaking in the hot tub.Dario was incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive. The home, location, and hospitality exceeded our expectations. We truly felt at home and would happily stay here again.

So Cozy

My family loved That Yellow Door cabin in Big Bear. It was clean and comfortable for us and our 2 dogs. The neighborhood was quiet and we spent a lot of time on the porch. The hot tub was lovely. Our host was super communicative and we will definitely come back to this cabin or one of their other Yelliw Door properties. Thank you Dario!

A very accommodating stay. It had everything I needed for a relaxing weekend. Conveniently located to everything. The host was great at communicating. The only issue was the at the trash facility. The gentleman overseeing the facility said we needed some type of proof of our stay to drop trash there? We simply pulled the confirmation up on the phone. I will most definitely stay again.

Lovely home and convenient location

My husband and I spent Memorial Day weekend here and had a wonderful experience. The house is off the main road and set back from the street so it is very quiet. Many surrounding trees between the home and neighbors giving an illusion of solitude, which was perfect for a relaxing weekend. House was very clean and well stocked with kitchen and bathroom supplies. Big hot tub and lots of seating on the deck. The location is a 5-7 minute drive to the main "touristy" area with restaurants, shops, and a really nice wine bar. Good communications with the property manager. Very clear instructions on where to take your trash upon checkout. We would not hesitate to return.
