190 feet of elevation with panoramic views of Orange and Rocky Lakes. Awesome sunrises and sunsets. Nearby boat landing. Fishing winter and summer. 1.5 miles off of Rt. 1. 12 miles to Dunkin Donuts, grocery store, Helen’s famous blueberry pie and many other services. Hunters and fishermen welcome. Near 4 wheeler trails. Nice breezes. Great place to walk and hike as well as many trails throughout Washington County. Abundant wildlife.

Panoramic views! Cabin itself was clean and comfortable. We loved the outdoor space. Location was perfect for us- secluded yet only a 20-30 minute drive to enjoy many of the sights and hikes in the surrounding areas.

The location of this property was beautiful. Views were breathtaking and area was very peaceful and quiet. Cabin was very comfortable and cute. I would recommend this place if you want to avoid crowds and relax in nature.

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was exactly what we were looking for—cute, clean, and incredibly peaceful. The lake views were beautiful, and the secluded setting made it the perfect place to relax and unwind. It was quiet, well maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful lakeside getaway.

This is the cleanest, nicest cabin you could ever imagine. I am returning in a few days and very excited to be there. Perfect is the only way to describe it.

This tiny cabin was perfect! Amazing views of the lake below, and the sunrise and sunset. It's a wonderful place to stay if you are looking for a quiet and relaxing overnight or even a week while you explore Downeast Maine. We were also pleasantly surprised to see a fire ring, lounge chairs, a Blackstone, and all the kitchen amenities this property offered. The hosts were amazing!! Quick to respond to questions, and extremely thoughtful and kind.

Quiet, rustic views with all the modern comforts one could need. The area offered fly fishing, dark sky views for astronomy, and access to nearby Cutler for a boat ride out to see Puffins. The small kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans and tools to cook or make a k-cup coffee.

Cabin is super clean, comfortable, and very private. Highly recommend this rental. Hostess was very helpful and quick to answer questions. Will definitely return in the future

What an incredible spot! The Little Mountain Cottage truly is a gem and a perfect place to come back to after a day of hiking/adventuring. Pia keeps the place clean and well kept and we really enjoyed our stay.

This ranks as one of the best, most peaceful places we’ve stayed. It had everything we needed for light cooking. It was spotlessly clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable with great sheets and pillows. We would happily go back to the Little Mountain Cottage and never tire of the lovely views.

Excellent Rental

This is a perfect place to rent if you like your privacy. It is also a perfect location for visiting the Lubec, Campobello, and Machias area. I highly recommend this property!
