We dropped off our UCD junior and needed to stay somewhere close with room for our poochie ! This bungalow was perfect and conveniently located. It is decorated perfectly with any amenity you might need. Thank you Lila and Larry for letting us stay in your beautiful home. We will book again !

Great stay in Davis! The owners have stocked this cute house with EVERYTHING that you might need! Very comfortable stay, great location and loved the front porch.

We had another wonderful stay in the YOLO Bungalow. Everything was great. Lilly is a great host and has made it so easy for her guests to enjoy a relaxing stay.

Beautiful home with lovely decor. Steps away from downtown and short walk to campus. Gorgeous and serene backyard. Had a wonderful time. Highly recommend!

One of the best VRBOs

Holiday Home

We needed additional space from “Grandma’s” to spend Christmas and this was the perfect spot. The hosts have clearly spent a lot of extra effort to add thoughtful touches throughout that made for a cozier and easier stay. The location was convenient- easy walk into town.

Outstanding, fully furnished, prime location

Perfectly located, charming bungalow with everything you need for your family (dog included). Could not be more convenient.

Wonderful bungalow

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the YOLO bungalow. It was spotlessly clean, in a great location, and had loads of extra little touches that made it feel like home. The earplugs and white noise machines were wonderful to alleviate the noise from the trains, and the snacks and chilled water were very welcome after a long drive! We would definitely stay here again.

If you like very brightly colored interiors with lots of kitsch/character and Davis memorabilia as well as decorative and instructional signs of every kind on every wall this is the place for you! It was very nice to have a fully enclosed back yard for dogs and although it was full heat of summer (plants dry/dead), the spring yard is probably very nice. The best part was its proximity walking to downtown Davis restaurants/cafes but as the listing states you are less than a block from a very busy railroad track and all the attendant noises/thuds/train whistles etc that come with that throughout the day and night. If you have more than one car, make sure to open the side gate and pull them all the way inside or up into driveway because street parking in front of house is by residential permit only and even parking briefly in front will bring a parking ticket. I should know…

The listing also includes details about the nearby railroad and train noise, street parking restrictions, and off-street parking available at the house. Attention to Detail!

We were in Davis as a stopover for work and to see UC student relatives. We cooked a dinner for the group and the kitchen had all we needed and more. The owners' attention to detail is fantastic: many extras for cooking, snacks, pet needs, toiletries, etc. Above and beyond! The house is very organized and clean. There are businesses across the street, but parking wasn't an issue in the evening, and one can park behind the gated part of the driveway that locks. Lovely backyard and pet-friendly. Highly recommend when Davis-bound.
