Regarding the balcony maintenance, we notified you on October 1, immediately upon receiving notification from the resort's HOA. Unfortunately, we cannot communicate information before it has been provided to us. Our notification outlined the anticipated construction disruptions and offered guests the opportunity to cancel their reservations or proceed with a 10% discount. You elected to keep your reservation and received the discount as offered. While we understand your disappointment with the limited balcony visibility while seated, the translucent protective material did not completely obstruct the ocean view. Regarding the primary bedroom mattress, comfort is subjective, and we have not received similar complaints from previous guests. However, we appreciate you bringing this to our attention and will have our maintenance team inspect the mattress to determine whether any issues need to be addressed. We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you back for another stay under more favorable circumstances.

We’re disappointed to learn after your departure about the dishes and coffee maker, as neither concern was reported to us during your stay. You did contact our team regarding the television and a toilet paper holder, and we responded immediately and arranged for someone to stop by the following day to address the items that required attention. Had we also been made aware of any cleaning concerns, we would have been just as happy to send our cleaning team back to the property to address them. We encourage guests to let us know about anything that is not as expected during their stay so we have the opportunity to correct it right away. We are disappointed by this review, particularly given this condo's consistently excellent guest feedback and current 9.6/10 Vrbo rating. On September 28, you reported concerns about the washing machine and a coffee cup. Our team responded within 15 minutes and arranged cleaning. A scheduling conflict delayed the visit, and we acknowledge that communication should have been better. The washer was subsequently cleaned and treated. The claim of "black mold" was not established by testing or professional assessment, and no previous guest had reported the condition. The outlet, rug, broom, and vacuum concerns were never reported during your stay. Had we known, we would have gladly addressed them. Our guest support is available seven days a week for that reason. Elevators, garage access, security, and food-delivery policies are controlled by the resort's HOA, not our company. Attributing these circumstances to negligence by our company is both inaccurate and unfair. Our review request encourages guests to contact us with concerns; it does not require five-star reviews or discourage honest feedback. We welcome fair criticism and acknowledge where improvements can be made, but distinguishing between reported issues, unreported concerns, and matters outside our control is important. Our history of guest satisfaction speaks for itself.

Thank you for your feedback. We do need to clarify several points for accuracy. The exterior work referenced was scheduled resort-wide maintenance, outside of the unit owner’s control and not specific to this condo. When this was brought to our attention, we communicated with you and issued a $200 refund as an adjustment. The review’s implication that the issue was unresolved is just not true. While we regret that the temporary maintenance impacted your stay, we addressed the concern promptly and fairly. Future guests should note that this issue was resolved at the time and does not reflect the condition or management of the unit itself.
