Have a dream oceanfront getaway at beautiful Lummi Bay! Relax on the deck or beach as you watch the early golden sun come up over Mt Baker on a clear morning! Take a kayak or the canoe out for a paddle in the waters of Lummi Bay or just enjoy watching the view change as the tide comes in or goes out! (Way out!)
When the tide goes out, the water is way out and the bay floor is visible, which brings in a lot of different wildlife (birds such as blue heron, eagles, etc.) looking for a bite of clam, etc.

This cozy two-bedroom cabin is fully equipped for your vacation. Tastefully renovated with new furniture and kitchen equipment.

Grab a bundle of firewood at the local convenience store.
Dog friendly ($20 fee each) 2 max. See pet fee at booking.
Note: BBQ put away for Nov-March

What a wonderful location! Sunrises were spectacular and looking out at Mt Baker partly snow covered was pretty great too. Our dog loved walks on the beach, and the neighbors all up and down were so friendly. The place had everything we needed and I think I could happily just live there. The house is very comfortable and I would love to stay again.

Shalom is a wonderful little gem! With water access to Lummi Bay! A two bedroom with ample space, full kitchen, comfortable beds, cute wood furnishings, washer/dryer and all the little touches of comfort. And it was nice and clean!The large deck on the back of the house had a beautiful view of the water and Mount Baker, well situated with table, chairs and umbrella, lounge chairs, deck chairs and BBQ. They also provide a canoe or kayak for those who want to venture out into the water.The hosts were especially helpful and maintained good communication before, during and after my stay, ensuring that I had everything that I needed.Shalom is a little slice of heaven. I can’t wait to go back!

First time staying at the property. Came into town to visit daughter who lives in Bellingham. We normally stay at a hotel but won’t again. What a wonderful little cabin. I was expecting a tiny place but it was the perfect size for the three of us. I can’t think of a thing we lacked in our 6 day stay. The views were breathtaking!! We will be back!

First let me say this is my fourth year staying with you. The home was clean. The decking and stairs were below average. The deck is popping up and it was a hazard. My mom is 92 and I was afraid of her falling. The stairs have a metal grasping thing and that was bent up and I tripped on it. I believe all this should have been fixed long ago. Truly I will not be coming back. Please fix these things and tear that deck down for the safety of others! Thank you Dena and Mom

Overnight stay

Great patio and amazing view of Baker. Great for drinks in the evening and coffee in the morning. Very dog friendly. We enjoyed our stay.

The cottage is clean, adorable, well appointed, with the most spectacular view!! My parents were visiting from out of state and it was the perfect weekend getaway for them to experience the best of the PNW coast. I really appreciated that the cottage is dog friendly, and my dogs really enjoyed our walks on the beach. Fair warning though- the tide goes out quite far, and the exposed sand gets REALLY embedded in dog fur! Luckily there is a hose on the side of the house, and I'm glad I brought some doggy shampoo and extra dog towels. To stay clean stick to the pebble shore.

Cozy Beach Cottage

Very pleasant stay at the Shalom cottage. Enjoyed the stormy beach weather right outside the door. It was clean, bright, comfortable and the kitchen was like being at home. We had a restful weekend.

It was an awesome stay for us and our pets. We went on many walks even to the marina and enjoyed the peacefulness all around. The views were fantastic! We even enjoyed being tucked inside during a really hard rain storm! Thank you so much for sharing this very cute, comfortable and quaint home for us to enjoy! Amazing Views

Sandy Point Shalom Cabin was perfect fit for our visit. We had a warm and clear weekend so the views were breathtaking. Everything we needed was provided. I would highly recommend this property as a place to land at the end of a busy day or to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy amazing sunrises and sunsets.

Beautiful Escape

Nice quiet neighborhood near BHam and Ferndale. We had a couple of clear days and this house has one of the best views of Mt. Baker and the Twin Sisters in Whatcom county. It's absolutely beautiful and oh so peaceful!
