Spacious Vacation Flat Near Beach

This flat is great for a medium-sized family of up to 8 people looking for a relaxing vacation by the beach. Located just two blocks away from a historic beach (Ocean Beach), it is a spacious 3 bedroom, 2-bath flat with a large dining room, fully-equipped kitchen, and hardwood flooring. The flat has a long hallway and all the rooms have a flat-screen tv with local and network channels.

Want to go downtown to shop or enjoy the exciting nightlife? Hop on the train that is one block away. Want to stay and explore the neighborhood? You are blocks away from the beach, Golden Gate Park, grocery stores, cafes, and popular eateries (Beach Chalet Restaurant / Brewery, Cliff House, and Thanh Long Restaurant). Biking and hiking trails and horseback riding are nearby. Major tourist sites are also close by, including the de Young Museum, the Japanese Tea Garden, the Academy of Sciences, and the San Francisco Zoo.

Other amenities include: designated indoor parking space, in-unit washer/dryer, and wireless internet.

Absolutely perfect

This was our first Vrbo stay and we were incredibly impressed. Everything was very smooth and the owners were very communicative and reasonable. We landed a bit earlier than check-in and they accommodated us and even offered a later check-out depending on our flight (which we did not need but appreciated!) The quality of the place for the price was outstanding. We were extremely happy with the location and all the amenities. We were able to "live" away from home without much issue. Cooking, cleaning, and laundry were no issue. We loved the location and made great use of the parks, beach, and the zoo. The access to the N train was easy and very convenient. They even had a Dyson hairdryer in their master bath - my hair has never looked better. Thank you to these hosts, they made our time in SF truly comfortable.

Great property close to beach

Appreciated the cleanliness of the property. Great location two blocks from Ocean Beach and also Golden Gate Park, and the public transit system. Quiet, safe, single family home neighborhood in the Outer Sunset District which was recommended to us by a local friend. Our favorite restaurant just blocks away was Hoom and Fish,

Great place would stay again!

Having three bedrooms and a Murphy bed made sure everyone slept comfortably. Great location for visiting the beach or Golden Gate Park. Lots of yummy coffee, shops, cafés, and restaurants nearby. Kitchen was well stocked with all of the essentials, plenty of clean towels.

I grew up 2 blocks away 40 years ago, so really fun to come spend 3 nights in the old ‘hood. Owners responsive. Check-in/out very easy. Flat set up simple and all self-explanatory. Cozy beds.

Misleading listing

We enjoyed our stay; it was clean, spacious and in a good location. My only frustration is that one of the photos on the listing is misleading. It includes a picture of a house perched on a cliff looking over the Pacific Ocean. The caption underneath says "External view". It is the only photo on the listing of any external view of a house. We booked the rental specifically due to the photo, which led us to believe we would be staying in a home on a cliff looking over the ocean. The house is not on the ocean, but instead is on a normal street in a normal block of homes, several streets back from the beach. I advise anyone looking at this property to be wary of the misleading advertising.

Spacious!!

We highly recommend this rental. It was in a perfect launching spot for everywhere we wanted to go. The owners were very responsive and on site. We did not have any problems at all!! The rooms are very large. We had a rental car and were able to park in the garage. Loved this place!!

Great Location in SFO

We stayed at this property for a week in February and really enjoyed the location. We had a rental car and having a space in the garage was very nice since parking in San Fran can be difficult. The place was very clean and everything there worked perfectly. If we plan a trip back to SFO in the future I would definitely stay at this property again.

The property is quite roomy and well maintained. It nicely furnished including the kitchen. Easy and fast to get around SF. The owners live on site and are very responsive and sweet people. Over all, this was a great experience.

Exactly as offered in a perfect location

We were holding a business meeting for five days in San Francisco for four of us. This location had the space we needed and the value that made sense. Highly recommend the location and the owners.

Immaculate

The place was bright and clean with a fully appointed kitchen and laundry. The smart TV had streaming available and in garage parking was available for our car and bikes.

Great Getaway

Great choice walk to beach 1 block to Streetcar downtown, host extremely helpful would highly recommend and will definitely stay there again if we go back to San Francisco easy walk to Golden Gate Park as well

Wonderful spacious home

This home was spectacular. It is so close to all the things you want or need. We watched the sunset on the beach a couple blocks away. We traveled in and out of downtown on the rail system. We had breakfast each morning in a little restaurant a couple blocks away. Stacy's attention to detail is unmatched. She had EVERYTHING you could possibly;y want or need in the place. She absolutely thought of EVERYTHING. It was such a spacious home and we were able to spread out and relax at the end of a day of sight seeing. Having parking the garage was so wonderful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND Stacy and her home.

Awesome time in San Francisco!

The property is in a quiet neighborhood, close to transit and so spacious. We had plenty of space and every convenience we could possibly want. The owners were so great. We’d return here in a heartbeat.

Really great flat close to the beach with an excellent host!

Place was really clean, in a great location for what we needed to do, and was a good value for our vacation. Stacy was always available if we needed anything before and during our stay. Will definitely stay here again the next time we are in SFO!

Great location

Just 5 minutes from the beach and half a block to Muni stop. Off street parking was great as it is a necessity in SFO. Beds were comfortable with quality linens and plenty of pillows and blankets. Provided personal items (shampoo, body wash, etc.) were also higher end - nice touch, and towels were abundant - they even provided beach towels. I did give a 4 star rating for cleanliness as the cabinetry was in need of cleaning from greasy cooking steam. However, the kitchen had everything we needed for cooking breakfast and simple meals. Coffee and condiments were provided and appreciated. Having a washer and dryer meant we could pack light - big plus. The property was very quiet. Two in our party left at 3 am for an early flight and we heard nothing. We would definitely book this property again if we are ever back in the area.
