Staying in our luxury yurt you transcend the stress of day-to-day life, feel more connection with nature all without sacrificing the comforts you love. Cook in our beautiful kitchen, relax surrounded by poplar lattice architecture. Nap under the blue sky and sunshine coming through the dome compression ring. At night have a fire or soak in the hot tub spa. Listen to the sounds of the near by brook. In the morning drink your coffee gazing out over the Shenandoah Valley as birds and butterflies flutter within the 5 acre property and pond.

My family bought this land in 2020. Originally all 37 acres belonged to the blue farmhouse at the bottom of the hill. The views were so amazing from the "back thirty" as we called it, that we decided we needed to do something more with the space. We wanted to be able to live day to day and be surrounded by the beauty of the mountains and pasture. We thought about cabins, but it felt like they would be too dominating. We didn't want it to feel like a neighborhood in the suburbs. One day my sister suggested Yurts. It was initially tongue and cheek but sounded fun. Yurts and goat yoga! Then one day my stepfather went online and looked at the yurts. He couldn't believe how many options there were for these structures. In winter 2022 we went to Blue Ridge Yurts in Floyd Virginia and saw them in person. We entered the 16' yurt and were in awe.
