Bear Timbers log cabin on the Shenandoah River

This log style cabin has it all. Whether you just want to get away and relax or celebrate a romantic weekend, Bear Timber’s has it all. House sits on Shenandoah river, has hot tub, fire pit, tubes, and kayaks. A short walk down to the river from the back porch you will have your own private riverbank. Swim in the river, kayak, tubes, fish, and then come back for a relaxing dip in the hot tub or sit out by the fire pit.

The house is fully equipped with pots, pans, dish ware, gas BBQ grill, gas fireplace/stove, TVs, Internet, both a screened and open porch. Washer and dryer on premises along with a dishwasher. All you need is your food and clothes. Everything else is available to make your stay worry free. This is a very clean modern cabin with rustic touches to make you feel right at home. High quality mattresses and bedding will give you restful sleep in absolute silence.

Close to 2 ski resorts - 50 minutes to Massenutten Ski Resort and 60 minutes to Bryce Ski Resort

Note: You cannot see the river from the house, which is a short walk down the driveway. The back of the property opens up to a beautiful view of the river. The Property Fee includes a $10 nightly fee for firewood, which is maintained on the property for your use.
