Truly lovely beach condo

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Truly lovely stay! The view is astonishingly beautiful and does not quit! We appreciated the clean, solid deck furniture and clean, clear windows which enhanced our indoor/outdoor experience. Kitchen pleasantly usable with great appliances, coffee maker and keurig, excellent dishwasher, cookware, wine glasses and dinnerware. Beach and pool easily accessible and the grounds quiet, safe, private and naturally beautiful. As there is always room for tips and improvement, the dryer for laundry could be updated, and mattresses deserve an attention focus. Lounge and sleep comfort/quality is key and, as a rental, probably the most difficult to maintain and satisfy. Would love to see more attention to comfort in the bedrooms and with living room furniture to match the quality and exceptional view and vibe of this outstanding property. Thank you for our stay and sharing your home with us. We are so looking forward to our time here next summer!

I never actually saw the inside of the original unit, and that’s part of the problem. I booked this condo back in November for a spring break trip to St. Augustine for a concert and a few relaxing days at the beach. After doing extensive research and reading reviews, I chose what looked like a beautiful unit.About a month before our stay, I was informed that the owners decided to use their condo, and we were required to move to a different unit. I’ve rented many homes and condos over the years, and this has never happened. I was honestly shocked that our reservation could be canceled on such short notice. The property manager offered us another unit in the same building at the same price, so I assumed it would be comparable in quality. Unfortunately, it was not. The condo we stayed in for three days was very dated and clearly in need of significant updates. While we made the best of our time there, it was not a pleasant stay. After raising these concerns, the manager offered a 10% discount, which felt inadequate given the difference in quality. In my opinion, the unit we received should have been priced at least 100 less per night. This is my first time writing a negative VRBO review, but I feel it’s important to share this experience. Based on what happened, I would not consider this a reliable booking option.

The location is fantastic as the property is the last building in a small gated community in St Augustine Beach. Unfortunately, the toilets were filthy and the kitchen faucet sprung a leak that created an unhappy neighbor and interrupted our ability to cook for a day and a half.

The kitchen was well stocked with modern equipment and plenty of dishes, pots, pans, etc. We loved having two separate sleeping areas, with the kitchen/living room in between, which afforded privacy for everyone. We will come back whenever we are able!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautiful location. We stayed at the end of October so we had the beach to ourselves. The Condo has an amazing unobstructed view of the beach. It has a nature preserve right next door so it feels like you are further away from the business of life. Great place to relax. Clean and lovely. Thank you!
