Comfy beds and nice living room for visiting. Clean. Easy entry and communication with owner. We didn’t use kitchen except for wine glasses!

Truly enjoyed my stay, extremely clean and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The neighborhood was just charmimg, with stores, coffee shop, etc. within walking distance. My family and I were there for a funeral and this was a perfect space to escape to after all the services.

Great location, quick jump to downtown but plenty of things to do nearby! Right down the street from Red Hook and Norms. Rooms were spacious and beds were solid.

The floors are very loud, uneven and broken so don’t walk around barefoot but also plan on hearing every step. Some of the furniture is very loose and the TV is very high above the fireplace so it takes a big strain to watch it from the couch. The front door is old and has expanded so it’s pretty hard to open and close and lock. The host is good about responding but the amount of money paid for what you get is very high.

This house is in a great little district, West Village. It is so clean and it has everything you need along with a great little diner (Norm’s) and a great little bar, Two Birds. The host ie EXCELLENT as I somehow messaged several times with some questions/requests. Responses were immediate and helpful! I know you’ll enjoy your stay here!

Great communication with host, very responsive. House was very clean. Bedrooms were nice and big and the beds were comfortable. Description and photo's accurately depict house. Free street parking was good, able to park within a block. Local coffee and food (Norm's diner) within a few blocks. Had a little trouble with the door locks, but nothing major. Neighborhood seemed safe to walk around in, lots of walkers pushing babies around or dog walking. Our rental car was stolen, but police said it happens everywhere-just our bad luck. Would stay there again.

Being an older home, the AC was a little weak in the strong summer heat, but we got comfortable enough with fans at night, and thankfully didn't need to use the 3rd floor, which would have been much more difficult.Ample (free) street parking in a cute neighborhood full of friendly people, and great communication with the host company. I was told that taking out trash is not part of the check-out instructions but it very clearly asks guests to. Thankfully, again, the hosts were quick to communicate and clarify, so truly no big deal. Just know you might need to reach out for some things --but you're likely to have fast and friendly help when you do.

We were in Detroit for a volleyball tournament. The place was clean and as pictured. We did have problems with the door lock. But that was minor. It was perfect for our short weekend trip.

Great location. Very clean house. Nice bonus to have Red Hook coffee shop and norms diner so close. If you have a group of four I highly recommend. Great experience.

Great location

There where 4 of Us who came to Detroit for a Sports weekend. The house with the separate 4 bedrooms worked out perfect. The location in relation to downtown was great. There was a little coffee shop a 1/2 block away, The Red Hook. Great coffee and pastries. We will defiantly stay there again on our next Detroit weekend adventure.

Wedding shower stay

Although the building was old it was extremly clean. It had pretty much all the amenities necessary for a short stay except for a coffee pot. There were pods but no coffee maker. Beds could be a little more comfy but all and all it was a nice stay

We enjoyed your property and had I wonderful stay. The property was very clean and spacious. The location was convenient. We were able to get to Ford Field, other locations downtown, and Norm’s Diner down the street by walking, taking Uber, or driving with ease. I enjoyed my morning jog in the West Village area, it was quiet, safe, and the people were friendly. The only minor issue I had was check-in with bending over to open the lockbox, took me several times but I finally got it open. Other than that we had a positive experience and would stay at this location again on our next visit in the future.

The bedrooms were perfect for 4 unmarried adults. The kitchen was almost adequate. Need another pot or so. No bowls to speak of. Whole has water pressure was very low. The living room futon sofa has to go. Very uncomfortable. The old house (1912) was warm and comfortable. Please fix the front door.

Nice older property in reasonable condition Front door was hard to open- lock and unlock. Very creaky floors. There were supplied coffee pods, but no keurig to use.

1st Time in Detroit

This was our first time in the city. We were in for a football game. The property was well located - liked the neighborhood. Coffee shop was great - pizza place was great - breakfast joint was also great. Only complaint was the kitchen. It is not very well appointed. There was no toaster, a french press for coffee (no regular coffee machine), and not enough cookware. This was not terrible - we made do but could have been better. Otherwise, everything worked out well. Reached out to management twice and they were quick to respond. Would recommend!
