Great 3 night stay based in Anchorage. Home was very spacious, clean, and comfortable! Great communication and key code was easy to access.Day trips to Talkeenta to go Flightseeing and south to Seward were easy to access.

We had an awesome stay, the home was very nice and in a central location close to everything!! Anything you could need was provided by the host. Highly recommend!

Great Anchorage Stay

We loved our stay at Chuck's Base Camp! The house is beautiful and very well kept. The kitchen is well-stocked and there was plenty of room for our group of 6 to spread out. The hosts are great to work with and gave great recommendations for things in the area. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful home!

LOVED our stay! The home is updated with all the basic needs and well stocked. Great communication with owners. Family board games which were a plus. Would absolutely recommend it!

Perfect!

We spent an additional 3 days in Anchorage post cruise tour. This home was in a perfect location, clean and the communication with Justyne was above and beyond awesome! If we ever get back to Alaska/Anchorage, we will definitely be looking to stay here.

Great Experience!!

My family and I spent the first couple nights of our Alaska trip in Anchorage and stayed at this house. What a great choice!! The house was very clean, comfortable, and modern! The host was extremely accomodating, responsive, and courteous! I highly recommend this location if you're visiting the Anchorage area!

Beautiful place

This rental was very well-appointed; had all the comforts of home with plenty of room for the 4 of us. There’s a large grocery store within a couple blocks. The neighborhood isn’t really walkable due to busy roads nearby but it provided super easy access to everything. Beds were comfy, towels thick, nice kitchen in which we cooked several times. I highly recommend Chuck’s Base Camp.

Could not have been better

A huge thank you to our host for the great stay at Chuck’s Base Camp. The property is spotless, and it was equipped with everything we could possibly have needed. It’s a huge space and it was more than enough for the three of us. Our host was very responsive, always getting back to us right away. We couldn’t have had a better experience, thank you so much!

Chuck's is GREAT

This place is spacious, with tremendous natural light coming through huge windows. Big washing machine, and the dishwasher cleans really well. Kitchen has as many pots, pans, and implements as we needed, and the beds are comfortable. .2 miles from a big Fred Meyer, and easy to get to in a car or taxi. Justyne was VERY responsive to our requests and extremely attentive to our needs. We slept four adults and two teens very comfortably, and we fit all six of us around the table for dinners. It's a cozy base camp to return to after each day of activities around Anchorage.

We had a wonderful stay. The property was clean, modern, one block from two grocery stores and about 15 minutes from the airport. We ventured as far north as Hatchers Pass and as far south as Seward. Plenty of range for fantastic hikes, points of interest and natural Alaskan beauty. The back yard had a direct view of the Chugash mountains. Very quiet at night. Comfortable bed, spotless shower and plenty of towels. Full size washer & dryer was key - only brought 3 outfits. Modern clean kitchen. Absolutely nothing negative. Would definitely rent again. Thank you so much for having us!

Chuck’s base camp is a great rental , close to everything and only 10-15 minutes from downtown . Has all the kitchen appliances and utensils and bathrooms with lots of extra towels . Would highly recommend staying here!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay at Chuck’s Base Camp. The home is spacious, beautiful, and meticulously clean. The back deck has beautiful mountain views. Importantly, the central location made it easy to explore both downtown Anchorage and the surrounding area. It was just a block or two to restaurants and grocery stores. The laundry room was very convenient. Justyne was a super host - very responsive and check in and out were quick and easy. Highly recommend!
