There's a nice cafe in the building on the ground level and a restaurants of all types within walking distance the building itself was by far one of my favorite things about the stay very historical would stay again

We had a great time and loved the quaintness of the apartment. The location was perfect and close to grocery store, shops and the beach. We will definitely stay again

Great location and fun experience

Overall, enjoyed our stay. For check in you have to coordinate with a person who may or may not be another resident in the building? They forgot we were coming, then when we got there, they said they were buzzing us in, but it wasn't working. Eventually we got up to the room because someone else was using the elevator and we jumped on. The condo itself is as pictured. Please note there are no bedrooms. Murphy bed is in the living area. The cot in the closet was lumpy but adequate. The furnishings and decorations are for aesthetics only. The condo is meant for sleeping and looking at only. It is not a comfortable place to hang out. However, location is awesome. Everything within walking distance and felt safe right around the condo. Location made the price worth it, and we appreciated a cheaper option with a unique experience. The building itself is one of the oldest ones in town and is gorgeous. Please note, the parking is free at night time. If you leave your car parked between 9am and 6pm there is a 2 hour limit and requires payment. Also, restricted spaces during street cleaning day.

Only sleeps one

The apartment is not accurately listed - it really only sleeps one person, not 3. The Murphy bed that is quite short and can only sleep one adult person at an angle. This was a bit uncomfortable, but would never have worked for two persons. You had to totally rearrange the oversized couch and other furniture in the living room to pull the Murphy bed down. The second sleeping space was a cot in a walk- in closet with no ventilation, next to a wall of built-in shelves. If I had counted on this to sleep another person I would have been very disappointed. I took pictures, I am disappointed that VRBO does not let you put photos in your reviews to show you what the place really looks like. The kitchen was very under supplied. There were no spoons for example. There was a lot of gross old food frozen in the freezer and old condiments in the refrigerator. The water pressure in the sink was so low that you could only get a slow drizzle that took more than a minute to fill up a small pot. Check-In was very challenging, because the address that is listed for the property is not the address where you go to check in. You need to go around the block to a different entrance with a different address. Once you get there, it is very unclear how to get through the series of locked doors, especially if it is after dark. Figuring out all of this out took me about a half an hour, dragging my baggage around at midnight after a long trip. The shower provided only lukewarm water.

It’s walking distance to shops, beach,Malls, restaurants and convention center .You can cook too. Safe and you will be given access fob it was not explained to us how to use it but another resident taught us how to use it to access the elevator and entrance.The theme is antique:old. I love it coz we stayed in Europe in the past so it brings back memories but if you want modern accomodation, it’s not for you. The bed is not too bad, the 2nd bed is like placed in a wardrobe / cupboard but if you will just sleep and you have no problem with it. It’s not bad, we were able to sleep and save at the end.thanx a lot ( safe and accessible is the pros)
