It is our pleasure to rave about this gorgeous property. The views couldn’t be more beautiful. We loved every sunrise and sunset, from clear days to foggy ones. We were pleasantly surprised by the amount of wildlife that could be viewed from the porch: deer, raccoons, red squirrels, seals, loons, bald eagles, eiders, guillemots, seagulls, and hummingbirds! The house was perfectly appointed, from the kitchen to the bedrooms, which had very comfortable beds (and beautiful views, of course). Everything was spotless and welcoming. We loved that there was a screened-in-porch as well as an open section with comfortable seating. The night skies were stunning, too. We liked being close to Sea Wall and the easy Acadia trails, like Wonderland and Ship Harbor. We also took advantage of being near Charlotte’s Legendary Lobster Pound, (with live music) as well as Southwest Harbor’s many eateries. We especially liked breakfast at the Clark Point Cafe (the Cafe Latte’s are fantastic). Of course, we always love visiting ANP, taking long hikes and the carriage trails, as well as the Land & Garden Preserve’s Thuja Gardens, Azalea Gardens in Asticou, and the Abby Rockefeller Garden. There are so many beautiful spots! The property was so wonderful, we didn’t want to leave! Thank you, Anne! We will be back.
