The cabin was secluded and quite...just what we needed for a weekend get away. Great little town about miles up the road was close enough and far enough away at the same time. Had no issues...bed slept good. Just wished there was a tv in the living room.

We loved this little cabin! Quiet & secluded! However i wish the property details included that it is so far up a gravel road. My car is pretty low. I'm glad it didn't rain while we were there that might have washed the road some. The porch is great however the trees in front block the view. I emailed the owner with a few other concerns but never heard back :(

We LOVED this house and property and didn't want to leave!! It had everything we needed; we even cooked there one night. We came to the area to explore Linville Falls and Grandfather Mountain, and this was the perfect location. We would not hesitate to book this home again!

Nice clean cabin within reasonable distance of restaurants and things to do. We would probably stay there again. The walkway onto the entrance is in bad need of mowing/trimming to keep from walking through weeds. There is a nest of very aggressive wasps/yellow jackets on the covered porch. Our dog was stung and while trying to figure out what was going on, I was stung 4 times on the wrist. The next morning I walked out and they immediately got me twice on the side of the hand. Very painful! All this to say that some attention is needed on the exterior; however, it was an overall good property.

Great little cabin! We went for the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games in which we have attended for years now. Cabin in a great area secluded. This was our second time renting this cabin. Clean and all in order.

In the woods

We had a very nice time. We played cards a lot considering there wasn’t any internet service or phone service. But we enjoyed the cottage.

Had a great time.

Attended the Grandfather Mountain Highland Games and this cabin was in a great location. Really clean and neat. Driveway is rocked. Will definitely book again for the next trip!

Lovely little getaway

This sweet little cabin was the perfect answer to our need to get out of the noisy city for the weekend; it was so peaceful. Property was clean and easy to access. The bed has an extra firm mattress, so if you are used to softer ones, this may be an issue. We slept fine both nights. Easy check in and out process. Will definitely come back!

A comfortable bed is important

Property was as described. As with other reviews, the property was very clean. Private and a lovely porch that could be accessed both from the living room and the bedroom. The negatives: we slept on the couch the second night. The bed is very hard. We had a better nights sleep from the couch. The bathroom sink drains very slow. The microwave handle is completely broken at the bottom and will probably break completely off soon. Lastly, the kitchen has very limited supplies. Unfortunately we can’t recommend this place solely based on the bed.

Cute and secluded cottage

This cottage was super cute and secluded. It was very clean. Check in was easy. The listing had a hot tub as an amenity, but the house did not have one. The bed was also super hard and uncomfortable. Otherwise everything else was wonderful.

Nice, quiet mountain cabin

Overall, the cabin was lovely and clean. We did have an issue with getting stuck in the snow in the driveway the first night. Emailed owner (because it was too late to call), but never got a response.
