The location of the property was great in terms of walking to Cedar Point and the lake was literally in the back yard. The kitchen was the best feature of the house and there were two living spaces which was nice for the kids to escape away from the adults. We had an issue while we were there and Doug was very prompt in responding to our call. We were there on a holiday weekend so I did feel the cost was a little pricey, but overall we were very happy with our stay.

Wonderful property for our family get together. Perfect location to walk to Cedar Point & we loved being right on the beach.House had plenty of room for 3 families to spread out with 2 living room areas & the bunk room was a hit for the grandkids. The master bedroom had a huge adjoining closet perfect to put a pack n play for quiet sleeping for a little one. The kitchen was big & well stocked . Home was clean, host was very helpful & we would definitely come back!

Amazing location. We walked to and from the park several times. Overhead fans made bedrooms cool and comfortable. From primary upstairs bedroom I couldn’t hear a peep from below. We will be back!

We had a great stay. Doug was a pleasure to interact with and was very accommodating. The kitchen was well stocked and we enjoyed the home layout.

This property is absolutely beautiful! And so incredibly convenient for my family to enjoy Cedar point. The parking lot is literally in front of the house! So amusement park in the front and beautiful beach in the back. The backyard is huge and even included a playground for the kids, which I didn’t realize so a huge plus. We really enjoyed our stay and had great communication with Doug the whole time we plan to come back this year!

Beautiful house and beautiful property. Everything was clean. Kitchen is gorgeous and great for entertaining. Living areas upstairs and downstairs worked well for our group of parents and teens. Bedroom set up is bunks and master upstairs, king, queen and twins downstairs. Very close to park, we walked in from the house rather than pay for parking.

The rental offered a very well appointed kitchen which we appreciated since we love to cook. Nothing better than having Lake Erie scenery while making eggs Benedict for breakfast! The whole house was lovely to relax in. We hung out on the beach enjoying the sights and bald eagles-I've never seen so many in one place! Doug was always willing to make our stay top notch.

Doug is great to work with communication is easy! The house was perfect for our family Thanksgiving! The heated floors were a huge hit with the wind and cold weather! The house is beautiful and accommodating!

The house was well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay! Our favorite area was the lakeside deck with beautiful views and easy access to Lake Erie. The owner was very attentive and hospitable. The location of the house was perfect. I would highly recommend this house if you desire a relaxing stay with easy access to Cedar Point Amusement Park.

Awesome place. 2 minute walk to amusement park. Kitchen accommodates former cooking. Beautiful views. Owner was patient and helped with ck in and booking.

Time to unplug

Very nice stay!, listing is exactly the same in person. We had very windy conditions so was not able to enjoy the outside as much, but was a nice backyard. Wish there was a bonfire pit. Host was helpful and quick with communication.

2025 Sandusky Family Trip

House was beautiful, clean, and nice location with a great view of the beach and right next to Cedar Point. The weather kind of permits us from going in to the water and fishing. But it was a very relaxing mini vacation enjoying each others company and playing games (which the house have a lot of). The owner Doug was very helpful with any questions we have and keeping us up to date with the planned power outage in the area. Thanks Doug, we will be coming back.

Nice property at a great location just steps from Cedar Point amusement park. It had some challenges and unfortunately the boiler/heater broke during a cold snap. Doug quickly got space heaters in the unit and made it right. Thanks for the quick response Doug! We appreciate you!

We had an amazing long weekend stay with a group of friends. Plenty of room for a group of 8. Beds were very comfy. 2 nice living rooms. Kitchen was great for prepping meals. There was no upper deck as was posted in the listing- the property must have been renovated and I pointed that out to the listing person. Deck overlooking the lake needs some repairs but we enjoyed it. Beware that bugs are a huge problem in September- and they come into the house even if you’re super careful. Not a reflection of the property but it did make our stay less enjoyable. We enjoyed the beach and built a fire every night with our own supplies. You can see and hear cedar point from the house and beach. The communication was A. We would stay again for sure.

The location was great for our family to utilize our Cedar Point passes. We could go into the park for a couple of hours and go in at any time throughout the day. The weather is unpredictable, but we knew that going into the vacation. We had a nice area of beach, after the first couple of days, due to the winds blowing the water out. We will definitely consider this spot for another vacation destination.

The house was great!!! It was very clean and spacious. Our favorite room was the kitchen, so open with a lovely view! It had everything we needed and our family could all gather around the large island to cook, eat and laugh together!We played in the sand and water on the private beach and walked to Cedar Point several times! A wonderful vacation for our family!!! Highly recommend!
