Great location! The house was clean and proactive communication from the host was excellent, making the check in and check out process super smooth. We would definitely book it again.

Great location! Out the front door was a quick walk to Cedar Point, out the back door was your private beach on Lake Erie. The house was very cute with an exceptionally well stocked kitchen. The amount of bathrooms was perfect. Heads up that navigation does route you through the Cedar Point parking lot, so every time we headed into town, we had to explain to the booth attendant that we were staying at a house and that we didn't park in the parking lot. Maybe there is a pass you can get, but we were never told about it. Again, not a huge deal, but just something to be dealt with.All in all a great house in an ideal location!

Beautiful new kitchen. It was very spacious and great cooking space. The view out the back is fabulous. You are literally steps away from your own private beach. Wildlife viewing of ducks, geese, eagles and other stuff. It was fantastic.

Pros: Great house, great location. Two of the four bedrooms are very large, almost (not quite) the size of individual hotel rooms. The property has its own private beach which is exactly like the pictures - about 30-40 feet of sand along the whole length of the backyard. Great quality sand, and the water is very shallow; my kids could wade out about 100 feet. Closer to Cedar Point entrance than most of the Cedar Point parking lot. Only two TVs, which is a huge plus for a beach vacation - less distracting for kids if there are no TVs in their rooms. Ample cookware & enough place settings to serve a small army.Cons: No pack & play, no sand toys, no kids silverware. So you'll need to bring those if you're bringing little ones. And swimming-wise... it's Lake Erie, so it's not the cleanest water in the world (but I suppose you already know that if you're looking at this).Tip: To drive there from Sandusky, just follow the Google Maps suggestions. But to drive back into town from this house, you need to cut through the Cedar Point parking lot because the park puts up cones to block the road that Google Maps says to use. The first time you do it, the gate attendants will have you fill out a short form to get a parking pass to cut through for free.
