SPECIAL OFFER!! Reservoir House is available to rent for $250/night from June 18 to June 27. There is a $300 cleaning fee for 5 nights or more, $200 for 1 to 4 nights.
Reservoir House is on a hill overlooking a reservoir, with magnificent sunset views! It has an open floor plan of kitchen-dining-living room. This house was built in 1994 but has old fashioned appeal. It was built as a summer home for a renowned Brown University professor and his family, who still own it. The house has 2 large upstairs bedrooms with queen beds. The first floor has 1 large first floor bedroom with a Queen bed and a small bedroom/office with a twin bed that converts to Queen, and a computer table and chair. The stone patio has a beautiful reservoir view. There are a large garden & lawns, surrounded by a meadow. there is an outdoor shower to rinse off after the beach. Birdsong fills the air, deer visit frequently, and an eagle likes to perch on the roof. Sunshine fills every room, and the charm & custom details make it both cozy and elegant. Fully furnished including all kitchen utensils, blankets and pillows, but long term tenants are asked to provide their own sheets and towels. The location is peaceful & quiet. Close to beaches, Little Compton village, nature walks, artisan stores, antiques, restaurants, galleries, historic buildings, working farms & farmers' markets, vineyards, local fresh seafood. New England is famous for lobsters, clams, clam cakes and chowder! Reservoir house is 30 minutes from Providence, the capital of Rhode Island, which is a beautiful cultural center with a thriving artist community, universities, museums and concert halls. It is close to the town of Newport, RI & New Bedford, MA and Boston is a 60 minute drive.
Children are welcome although the house is not "child proof". There are toys and games for both indoors and outdoors, suitable for children and adults.
Pets under 40 lbs are only welcome with an evaluation by the landlord, proof of up to date vaccines, flea control, and negative intestinal parasite test. There is an additional $500 security deposit and $100 cleaning fee per animal. Please contact me to discuss pets.
