The country setting with large private yard , stone walls and a stream make it a great place to bring kids and the family dog.

Spend evenings by the fire pit or visit restaurants and shops in historic Newport.

Great spot

We really liked the location, the property and the hosts. Being able to bring our dog along was a huge relief too. We would absolutely stay there again!

Quick Stay

For a quick trip, this was a lovely place to stay. We were away most of the time, and really just spent nights on the property. Kid friendly and peaceful.

Great Place to Stay

The property was beautiful, well maintained and very relaxing. The accommodations were roomy and very comfortable. Everything was very neatly organized, very clean and well thought out. The hosts are very pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed our stay with them very much.

Perfect quiet and comfortable

What a wonderful find: the studio is spacious and sunny, the extensive grounds are lovely and the host is very welcoming but not intrusive. The location is a quick bike ride to the town of Little Compton and several amazing South County beaches.

Quaint with modern accents and perfectly cozy!

We loved our two night getaway! Traveling with our two children and dog, the space was cozy yet felt spacious. A nice little yard, and porch to sit and read while kids played was a nice extension of the loft apartment. Cannot say enough positive words about our hosts!!!

Little Compton was a Big Hit

Completely relaxing family environment for our little crew. Doug and Dabba were exceptionally inviting and accommodating. The loft area was unique with its functional layout and plenty of room to stretch out after a long day at the nearby beaches. The attention to detail was evident with the fun decor. Highly recommend and look forward to visiting in the future.

Perfect Escape

The loft was as listed. Totally cool vibes. Loved laying in the hammock. The owner was awesome and was easy to get a hold of to ask questions about the area. I wish I didn't have to go back home for work. This place rocked.

Wonderful mini-break

We had a really pleasant mini vacation here. We were greeted warmly by the hosts and check in was super easy. A flight of stairs takes you to a very private apartment that is spacious, tastefully decorated and very clean with views of treetops everywhere. The setting is very peaceful, safe & beautiful and we enjoyed sitting in the large backyard, as well as using the outdoor shower which was refreshing after a day at the nearby beach. Pretty shops, cafes and back roads really make us want to return again! Our family of 3 (plus dog) slept and relaxed very comfortably.

Very large, charming, comfortable studio

The space is one big room, very well-designed, so that it has everything you need but feels spacious and comfortable. The hosts include quality soaps, snacks, maps, local guides, and basic kitchen staples (coffee, tea, oil, salt and pepper, a few spices). It is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood 5 minutes from the town center and five minutes from the beach. Doug and Dabba were excellent hosts, warm and very helpful. We will be back!

Just as advertised

We spent 2 nights here with our dog and chose it mainly with him in mind; very dog friendly. We booked the property as a central spot for the area trails we hiked and for a part of RI we had never been to. The road is very quiet/little traffic so very safe to take walks on. Lots of windows made for nice breeze through room and kept it cool. And even though this is a non-smoking property, there was a cigarette smoke smell when we first arrived but with windows open it quickly cleared. Property was very clean and even though the owners were around, we were given our space. We enjoyed chatting with Doug about the places we had visited and he gave us a brief rundown about Little Compton. Our dog loved meeting him too! Very limited pantry items, but we brought already-made salads, deli meat, etc so I didn’t have to rely on ingredients. However, the owners would have supplied anything we would have needed. The only suggestion we would have would be to put the mini fridge on a table/platform to lift it higher. Guests of our age or older may have a hard time accessing it while on floor. Overall, the loft is as advertised.

The hosts are super and the space is gorgeous. It is the perfect place for a stay at the beach. Everything in the kitchen is setup for cooking an easy meal. At night there is a big TV for family movie, comfortable beds for sleeping. Mornings coffee is provided , so you can drinking coffee and looking out at the beautiful trees. The place is an easy drive to the best beaches in RI. There's outdoor showers to rinse of the sand, and inside with soft towels and soap provided. The place is also decorated in great style. Just lovely. We can't wait to come back.

Perfect perfect. The setting was other worldly. So lush and peaceful. The loft cozy furnished to a tee with rows of eindows on 3 sides to maximize the stunning forest views. Like sleeping in a treetop. Also the space was stocked with everything we needed.So close to a quiet beach and reasonable distance to drive to Newport. Doba and Doug were so friendly and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed everybaspect of our visit.

This property is exactly as advertised: a pet friendly, spacious studio (garage) loft in the woods with outdoor space shared with the owners, who are very friendly. The kitchen is set up for breakfast so that you're free to explore dining options for lunch and dinner.

Wonderful—a must stay!!

Danna and Douglas were absolutely wonderful hosts! The space was clean, and quiet. The bed was comfortable, the garden views were serene, and they were so welcoming and friendly. My dog also loved them, and they were so kind to both of us, making sure we had everything we needed multiple times. I cannot recommend staying here enough, I will definitely be back!!
