Certainly I agree with you that CapCana, being a private and very quiet Resort, isn't the place for folks looking for an all inclusive offering; renting a car is recommended for families looking to do some outdoor activities in the Punta Cana area.

Hello Jocelyn, I regret to learn that the Resort and the Condominium did not meet your expectations. I value your feedback and will address your concerns, as some of your statements are inaccurate, and your comments are somewhat misleading. Ironically, prior to your arrival, you were the customer for whom I provided the most extensive assistance, answering questions and assisting with the coordination of your outdoor activities. Indeed, you are permitted to bring your own beverages and consume them in the pool area. However, it is prohibited to bring glass bottles to the pool area or drink in the pool itself. The swim-up bar has recently undergone a remodel, but unfortunately, drinks are not currently served in the area. If you wish to order food or drinks while in the pool area, kindly inform the service staff, and they will be delighted to accommodate your request. The pool service personnel are also responsible for setting up the pool umbrellas and chairs. Certainly, the hot tub is currently closed. I will contact Resort Management to inquire about their plans for this outdoor amenity. In addition to the facilities you mentioned, you can visit Fishing Lodge and Ciudad Las Canas. Fishing Lodge features a casino and a diverse range of restaurants. Ciudad Las Canas offers medical offices, a supermarket/pharmacy, and an Italian restaurant. Although both locations are not within walking distance, they are conveniently accessible by a short drive from the Condominium. Capcana provides a taxi service for a nominal fee of US$3 per ride to any destination within the Capcana Resort. A welcoming letter you received prior to your arrival in Capcana provided detailed information on these services. Although your personal notes on the apartment, specifically regarding the beds, sheets, and kitchen equipment, are valuable, it is crucial to acknowledge that each bedroom is equipped with high-quality replacement sheets and towers, and the kitchen is fully furnished. Indeed, while you were residing in the apartment, a mechanical issue arose with one of the air conditioning units. Regrettably, the technician was dispatched twice to address the problem, but there was no one in the apartment to allow him access.

I always strive to be very accommodating so the families who choose to vacation in my property at Capcana feel comfortable at all times and enjoy every minute of their vacations . Thanks so much, Michelle, for the tips on your review. They are certainly very helpful for new renters. Regarding the grocery store by the airport (called "Supermercado Nacional") it's trully very expensive to get there by taxi. Once inside Capcana I recommend the smaller supermarket located in Las Canas near entrance to Capcana. A taxi ride there, an to any point inside Capcana, is only US$3/one way.
