This is a charming little beach house on the West end of Bolivar. If you are looking for a budget property, this is probably the best you can get on peninsula. I love a water view rental and for being second row from the shoreline, the Gulf views were fantastic! It's a small place, but it has pretty much everything you need ...a full kitchen, a decent sized living room and bedroom, and a washer and dryer. Everything worked well and the folks at Swedes are super nice, responsive, and accommodating. It's perfect for a solo traveler. I would definitely rent there again.

A nice cozy getaway

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house is the perfect couples getaway spot or a small family. It has a nice beach view with the glass sliding door and front deck. It was very well equipped and had everything we needed. I would definitely stay here again.

Last Minute Get-a-way

Just wanted to get out of the city, hear the waves, & see the stars. Seagull Shores was the PERFECT place! Will 100% rent again!

Great property but not maintained

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the experience was okay. When we checked in, the kichen was dirty and so was the king bed. The property mgmt company did not offer any service to clean the facility, so we had to do it ourselves. The pillows had bad smell too.

Affordable beach house

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house was very affordable and perfect for 2 adults. We even could have brought 3 more people and slept comfortably. We were happy with the amenities the WiFi was great and the kitchen fit our needs. I will say the cleanliness of the beach house was not amazing. The bed definitely had been slept in and mattress protector, comforter and pillow cases were not washed between guests. There were Cheetos on the floor of the bedroom and the bathroom had not been cleaned between guests (globs of toothpaste and hair in the sink, a clearly used hand towel next to the sink). I book air bnbs and houses quite often and have never had a linen fee so I thought that was kind of outrageous. Overall it is a great price to have an entire beach house to yourself and I actually would stay here again if the house keeping was better.

Arrived at the room and noticed food in refrigerator and trash in the cans. The living room couch looked like something from goodwill and the lounge chair looked like it was picked up off the side of road. The screen door was off and laying against a chair on the deck. First night the sliding door would not lock from inside, I repaired the lock the 2nd night and did not have the problem again. The Bed was comfortable but be advised that you have to pay and extra 100.00 if you want sheets or bring your own. The only dresser was full of the pillows and other stuff so there was no place to store our own clothes. This place has lots of potential but needs work put into it. I forgot to mention that the kitchen cabinets are peeling paint and the 2 living room televisions would not connect to internet so they were useless. Only tv was the one in the bedroom

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Perfect stay for girls weekend. Perfect walking to the beach. When they say no amenities, they mean it, so make sure you bring everything you need.
