Jeff was an amazing host, very communicative and understanding. The property is perfect for families. Definitely take advantage of all the games and activities already on site. Also one in our party was partially handicapped, the master bedroom shower has a a small built in seat and grab bar for stability which was perfect for her. Would definitely recommend.

We are so glad you chose to stay at The Yellow Dragonfly. We try to make improvements to our house all the time. We were able to install a ramp for the entrance. Hope that you remember us if you are back this way again.

This house is 5 star. The hosts Jeff and Wanda are so nice and so pleasant. They were here when we checked in and we chatted for a bit so friendly. House is beautifully decorated and they left sodas and snacks for us. My nephew really enjoyed the loft area and the game room kept him very occupied. House is perfect for someone that has a walker or wheelchair.The Preston kwik mart down the road has the best breakfast sandwiches and pepperoni rolls. Best Vrbo I have been at in a while. Already planning to come back soon. Thanks again Jeff and Wanda.

We try to think of everything that will make your stay enjoyable. We try to add something new or make improvements, so each time you stay at the Dragonfly it is a different experience.

This was perfect for my family, we were going out to visit Prickett's Fort which is about 40 mins from the house. With traveling with 12 people this house had everything we needed plus more. Jeff was in constant communication with us. Would recommended to anyone.

We are glad that our house met your needs. We try to update after guests stay. Some are major changes, others are just adjustments, or decorations. We have added a new ramp at the front door to make entry easier. Keep us in mind if you are by this way again.

We try to think of anything that someone would need on a stay away from home. We keep adding new things as we see different things when are out and about. Hopefully your next stay will be different, but in a better way. Our goal is to do what we can to make your stay enjoyable and unforgettable.

We had the whole family in town for WVU graduation and The Dragonfly was better than we could have expected. Very accessible to Morgantown and plenty of room to relax comfortably during downtime. Great kitchen, backyard and front porch let us spread out and be more at home than is possible in any hotel. There was even Ms. PacMan and Galaga so Gen X parents could test their decades old skills. Dragonfly capped off a fantastic weekend and we highly recommend it!

So glad everything went well during your stay. Our property is located close to interstate 68, but far enough away that we are close to nature. You can enjoy our fenced in back yard as you listen to the WiFi, or just chill with a fire in the fire pit and listen for the coyotes, hoot owl, or the neighborhood donkey.

This place was amazing! One of the best experiences that Ive had! It was clean and comfortable. Lots of snacks which the kids thought were amazing! The garage offered hours of fun. My kids favorite area though was the big room upstairs. Wonderful house for a large family or group. The hosts were super responsive and so generous! A great ending point of our trip!

I can't say enough about this house and the host. The house was perfect... the photos on-line do not do it enough justice. It was nicely decorated on its own and then had many extra fall touches. When we walked in, it felt like a home not a rental space. And the renovated attic area was awesome just to walk and look at all the music memorabilia. And the converted garage to a play area was fun. The master bathroom was huge.Now about the host. If I could rate give a rating over excellent I would. I have never rented a place before (and I have rented many) where the host has surpassed all expectations. He texted me to offer me ideas about travel and provided me with weather updates prior to our arrival. Then we were provided with an early arrival option without even asking. We were offered to use anything in the house....which in itself is unusual, but then he supplied new items throughout....a large variety of pop and water in the refrigerator, a large supply of coffee and tea, a cupboard full of spices, storage bags and wrap, and several bowls of candy and snacks all around! In the bathrooms, medicine cabinets stocked with any item that you might need (all new)! A cabinet full of games and outside a firepit and a stack of firewood. The list goes on and on. Thanks for the great experience our group had at the house. If we knew how nice it was, I would have wanted to stay longer. We will recommend it to everyone we know that might be visiting the area.Thanks.

Clean and very comfortable! Owner was very responsive and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.

We were very happy to have guests come and stay. We received about three inches of snow before their arrival and had to plow a path for them. Very happy that we could accommodate their needs and give them a comfortable stay in wild, wonderful West Virginia. Hope they come back again sometime.

Our stay for a family reunion

First, Jeff is an amazing host. So much thought put into his guests comfort and feeling of “home”. Our group absolutely loved it. So clean, cozy, and functional!! It was convenient to everything we needed to have access too and the back yard was amazing for watching wildlife! We would definitely stay here again!

So glad that you enjoyed your recent stay. The wildlife has been very active this summer. No telling when you’ll see the turkeys or deer as they make frequent trips through the yard. We have heard a hoot owl on two occasions. We are trying to update our amenities to make sure our guests have everything they need for an unforgettable stay.

Great house. Central to lots of outdoor activities in Preston Co. Well stocked and fantastic game room. We now hold the Yellow Dragonfly Galaga high score!

The host was readily available for all our questions and provided drinks, snacks , candy and all sorts of amenities for our stay. The house was stocked with essentials and the property provided ample entertainment for the grands from a fully loaded game room ( ping pong, foosball , basketball, Pac man, horseshoe's,game closet) to each having their own double bed in a beautifully decorated kids room . The house was seasonally decorated and warm and inviting. Best experience we have ever had at a rental property. Our multi-generational family of 11 loved it!

Geocaching Getaway

Our group of 10 from the Haldimand Ontario Canada area came down for Geowoodstock in Morganstown WV. What a great house and location! Everything in the house was pure perfection all of us loved our stay and wish we were here longer to enjoy the house more!

This was by far the best home rental we've ever stayed in. This was a true home, with every amenity we could imagine. We visited with three generations and everyone was comfortable and happy. The kids (and adults) loved the game room... and the chocolates. We even got to enjoy the yard games and the fire pit. This was a family trip of a lifetime made extra special by stay ay the Yellow Dragonfly. Thank you for everything.

Fantastic rental for WVU game

We stayed 2 nights and were very pleased with everything! From check in to check out we had all that we needed. We loved the game room!! It is about 30 min to Morgantown. We would absolutely stay again for our visits to WVU.
