From the outside the house looks small but once inside the house is large enough for 8 people to enjoy a little space. Never crowded! And the outdoor space is amazing!!!

The host made themselves available, if I needed anything, and made check-in/out very easy. The house was very quaint, clean and had everything we needed handy. Beds were comfy and there was plenty of space that met our needs, indoor and outdoors as well.

Cute house

Perfect place for our family to stay for the weekend. We had a great time sitting out in the yard and listening to all the birds. The house was well stocked for anything we needed and the location was close to all the things we like to do in Fredericksburg.

This property is so clean, cozy and cute! The check in process was super easy. Perfect for a girls get away with my sister and neice. I would definitely stay here again.

Whiskery Ginger Review

10/10 stay. Host was very nice and checked in on us. We had a group come in to run the Outlaw Half Marathon and it was perfect for our group size. The backyard and outdoor area in general was a big win for us. Will definitely stay here again next time we are in town.

Great Stay at The Whiskey Ginger!!

We took the kids to visit Enchanted Rock for spring break. ( We make this trip every year!) The whiskey Ginger was just a short 20 minute drive from there into beautiful downtown Fredericksburg, where we love to spend the day walking the downtown area with so much to do and see! The house was easy to find and included everything you could need for your stay! The kids absolutely loved the outdoor area and fire pit for s'mores! The rooms are very comfortable and clean! We would definitely consider the Whiskey Ginger for our future trips to Fredericksburg!!

Nice Property, but No Hot Water

The house was very cute and the beds were really comfortable. Communication could be improved on. I sent a question upon booking and never received a response back. At day of booking, I didn’t receive check in instructions and had to message the host. I received a response back after reaching out for instructions but never regarding my question sent before. There was no hot water, so some did not want to shower. For the price we paid, I would expect everything to be working perfectly otherwise provide a credit for the inconvenience. I reached out to the host about the water and he said he would have maintenance look into it, that doesn’t help me post stay. I don’t think I would not stay at this one again. There are several others that I have stayed at that are more reasonable and have hot water.

I did respond to your message promptly, and the check-in information is automatically sent on the morning of your arrival. It’s possible that the message was missed in your inbox or went to your spam folder. I’m truly sorry for the inconvenience you experienced with the hot water. On the day of your checkout, our plumber was able to replace the necessary part, and the water is now hot throughout the property. With it being a one night stay I unfortunately could not resolve that any sooner. Thank you for your understanding.

The house is beautiful! We really enjoyed sitting outside by the fire pit, and they even had extra propane ready for us. The beds were super comfortable, and the house was very clean. It’s about a 15-minute walk to Main Street on easy roads. Check-out was simple and not overbearing. I would definitely stay here again with a big group!
