A cozy, relaxing space for unwinding the day after enjoying all the Tiki vibe, beach life Nokomis has to offer. The Casita is 6 minutes to the Gulf of Mexico and it's white sandy beaches. Enjoy fishing off the Jetty next to the intracoastal waterway or pull up to a Tiki bar for a famous grouper sandwich. So many activities to choose from in this town next to the nation's #1 beach destination, Siesta key - 15 minutes away.
All pets MUST be on a vet approved flea medication & proof sent prior to check in.

We stayed for 28 nights with our dog. Casita was fully stocked and the fenced yard was great for our dog. The hosts were very accommodating and had great recommendations. Great location for beaches, kayak fishing, dog park and many waterside restaurants. Will definitely be our 1st choice in the future.

We really enjoyed meeting Suzanne, Jim & Charlie! Such great guests and just the kind of responsible dog owners we love to host. We even got to hang out at the dog park together with our doodles. We would love to host them all in the future and look forward to their return to Nokomis, Florida.

Fantastic

Great little place. Would rent again if we are in the area. Bathroom sink was a little iffy. Overall, cute place!

Nokomis Casita

Very comfy furniture. Great lighted bathroom mirror. Front lanai perfect for happy hour & dinners. We will be back for an extended stay next year.

Overall good experience- Master bed and pillows could have been more comfortable.A/C could have been cooler.

Aloha Glen, thanks for the comments about the Casita during your stay. You mentioned the AC could’ve been cooler? The AC unit was just replaced and is brand new. We don’t limit guests use of the thermostat. We are curious if you had trouble setting the thermostat since it is a brand new system. We haven’t had any other comments about issues with it getting cold. We also have lots of extra pillows available in the 2nd bedroom closet and were available to you as well, sorry if you didn’t see them Please know our success in providing a 5 star stay always relies on the guest experience. Key to understanding what the guests needs are lies in effective communication. If we are fortunate enough to host you again, we would love the opportunity to make sure your next stay is perfect. This neighborhood is a hidden gem. Close to everything yet quiet and safe. Located west of the 41, Nokomis is a small fishing town located right on the Gulf of Mexico. You can take a walk around the neighborhood or a leisurely bike ride to morning yoga on the beach. Drive a golf cart to the local stores for shopping and restaurants, or drive 10 minutes to historic downtown Venice. Siesta key is 15 minutes from the Nautilus Casita and has been voted the #1 beach for it’s pure white soft sand made from the crystals of the Appalachian mountains. Boat rentals at nearby marinas make it possible to enjoy the area from the gulf or the intracoastal waterway. Manatees, dolphins, tarpon and rays are abundant in these waters, adding to the magic of this coastal town.
