Manatee watching April-May-June and on & off through the rest of the year. Kayaking East to Myakka or West to Venice Jetty’s. 2 miles from Nokomis Beach. 2 miles to downtown Venice. Quiet private road access. Legacy trail less than 1 mile away. Kayaks , fishing poles and shark tooth rakes provided. BBQ grill on site. 1 car garage.

Great house on the water with gulf access and lots of fishing! Gorgeous views all around the property. Everything inside was new and clean, and the host was very friendly and accommodating. I really enjoyed this spot and hope we can come back to enjoy more scuba diving, boating, and kayaking! It was the perfect location for all our activities!

Wonderful place to stay! We loved the location to be able to kayak right at the house and bike along The Legacy Trail. The hosts were very responsive and helpful. Great place to stay!

We had an amazing stay and would absolutely come back! The house was spotless when we arrived and had so many thoughtful extras that made our trip even more enjoyable. We loved fishing right from the property, and seeing manatees swimming nearby.The location was perfect for exploring the area. We spent time shark tooth hunting, relaxing at the beach, and making memories with our family. Everything was exactly as described, and the hosts clearly put a lot of care into making guests feel welcome. We highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing Florida getaway!

The house has a great location. Nice, updated interior and well equipped kitchen. The host was available and very friendly. The home is conveniently located for parks, beaches and good dining. We would definitely recommend.
This is the view from the back lanai! Lots of birds.

The whole house was great! Very peaceful! We did get to see a small shark in the canal behind the house we were very surprised! Shane was a great host and gave me heads up on recent change in the house before arriving. I definitely would stay here again.

This property is absolutely outstanding, inside and out. We love the location for easy access to the Legacy Trail just a half mile away, ideal for walking and biking. And it's right on the water with easy access for kayaking. The hosts are right next door, and readily available should you need anything. Five stars all around!

Beautiful scenery, quiet spot

My family would definitely stay here again. Very clean amenities, wonderful time sitting outside on the water, friendly hosts. Close to highway but quiet neighborhood.

Boating is our happy place. We live in this area because we love that we can get to the gulf from our home but are still nestled away from all the hustle bustle.

Nokomis is a boating community. The neighborhood is quiet. It has many canals and is enclosed by 2 creeks - Shacket and Curry. It is near several beaches, close to grocery stores and retail stores and near downtown Venice for shopping! There are many wonderful restaurants close by.

The view at this property is amazing from dawn til dusk. There is a bird sanctuary behind the house on the other side of the creek. You can see all sorts of wildlife from birds, to gators, to manatee and all sorts of fish species. It’s in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by water yet close to everything.
