Welcome. We are so happy you are visiting our site. You will enjoy our Romantic Cedar Chalet in the peaceful Tamarack woods on a beautiful semi-private lake. Here are some of our features: (Enjoy the Montana Experience!)

~ Lots of daily wildlife

~ Soak in the clean hot tub and on clear nights see the beautiful Montana big sky & stars. It's heaven.

~ Beautiful wrap-around Deck that's covered on both sides of the house for viewing the wildlife or looking at the Snow Capped Mountains & gorgeous lake. (Whitetail deer and wild turkeys can be seen on most days.)

~ Circular driveway so you can bring your RV, Boat or Trailer.

~ 2 bedrooms & 2 full baths. Romantic king size bed upstairs in a spacious loft with private bathroom & outside balcony. You'll be able to sit & read, watch a movie, enjoy the views of the mountains to the east or the lake to the west from either side of the king bed.

~ Large wood fireplace in the living/great room. This is a relaxing room with floor to ceiling windows with a view of the woods and lake.

~ Fully stocked kitchen

~ Laundry/Mud Room

~ Queen Log bed in downstairs bedroom. next to kitchen, bathroom & laundry room.

~ Conveniently located near the towns of Bigfork, Columbia falls, Kalispell, Lakeside & Whitefish where you can enjoy:

Awesome!

You won’t be disappointed with this property or the owners. Cindy is very considerate and goes above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need. She even offered us an extra night at no charge due to bad weather upon our departure. We will definitely return, but unfortunately probably not for the next four years.

Perfect peaceful getaway!

It was an amazing stay! Cindy met us at the place to check us in, it was so peaceful to be there. The house was clean and had everything we needed, and was located close to all the amenities we needed! Hot tub was perfect. Highly recommend

Beautiful Home

This is a beautiful, comfortable home in a scenic setting. Wonderfully clean and tidy. The owner spent a great deal of time on the phone for me to correct a booking error with vrbo. Don’t think twice—book this home!

Perfect weekend get away

One of the best. Everything was perfect. Secluded but conveniently located. House was fabulous. Hot tub was fabulous. Two days there felt like a week. Absolutely no stress.

Autumn Vacation

Wonderful cozy cabin, very relaxing in an idyllic setting. Had a great time exploring the area with day trips to Kootenai Falls and Glacier NP. Hosts were very nice, responsive, and a great source of information. Beautiful area and would love to come back again.

Great stay

5 star all around. My only feedback was that I’d love a lounger chair for the deck- the Adirondack chairs are not that comfy for reading and relaxing but we loved our stay

Awesome

This place had the best setting. It was a quiet neighborhood where deer roamed the property every day. The back deck was awesome. We used the fire pit and sat outside in the evenings. The cabin was slightly dated, but it was very inviting and comfortable. I definitely would go back and stay again. Loved it!

Great place!

Quiet and remote. Great host communication. Amenities to make you feel at home. Close to Glacier National Park, Big Fork and Whitefish. Wildlife sightings in the neighborhood. The lake is not very swimmable but still nice for the paddle boat and kayaks. Hot tub was awesome for relaxing!

Our trip to Glacier National Park

This is an amazing place to stay. We sat on the deck every night and enjoyed the deer and the view of the lake. It was a great location that wasn't far from the West entrance to the park. The hosts were fantastic. They met us at the property and showed us around. We asked suggestions to eating places and they were more than happy to help us. We would recommend this to everyone. Thank you so much.

Anniversary Trip

We had a wonderful trip!! The house had everything we needed and more!! We loved all the sitting areas and the views! The hosts were readily available and helpful! We stay in a lot of VRBOs, and this was one of the best!

A Great Honeymoon

This property was fantastic! The lake view is great, we saw a some fun wildlife around, and the owner was easy to communicate with for check in/out and any troubles in between. We had a great honeymoon there and would recommend this to other couples who want to visit Montana!

Honeymoon Get-Away

We recently stayed here for our honeymoon. It was amazing! The exact Peaceful and quiet get-away we were looking for. The home is super comfy, we enjoyed how welcoming it felt. The wood burning fireplace was the perfect touch on rainy days. We even got to relax in the hot tub when the sun came out. We wished the lake had been a little fuller but we were glad to at least have a lake to view. We enjoyed breakfast on the deck as deer grazed the property. We would totally consider staying here again.

Cozy cabin with incredible views

We loved our time here. The views are amazing, especially the sunsets on the lake. The house includes all the amenities of home and is centrally located to many areas to explore. The hosts were available if we needed them. Would love to return.

Cozy Cabin!!

The most relaxing place you could stay. The location is semi secluded, cozy, clean, and beautiful. The hosts are very communicative to make sure your stay is nothing short of the best experience. We’ll definitely return for another stay in the future.

Montana Anniversary Trip

We loved everything about this cabin! From the wood fireplace to the serene feel of being on the lake. There was no loud traffic (none at all that we heard actually) it was super relaxing and quiet out on the deck and even in the hot tub. We felt we had complete privacy during our stay. Cindy and Randy were fantastic hosts and we hope to be able to come back here again.

Wonderful Time

We enjoyed our time here immensely! Our host was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us lots of suggestions for places to visit. The cabin was well stocked for cooking and with all necessities. We spent most of our time hiking and really enjoyed the hot tub at the end of each day! The neighborhood was quiet and perfect for relaxing - great place to stay!

Glacier Getaway

Exceptional cabin. Beautiful views, close to hiking, shopping and dining. The hot tub was great after long days hiking. It's has everthing you need. Would love to stay there again. Cindy was very helpful with hiking and dining suggestions.

Relaxing

This place was very quiet, relaxing and well kept. The hot tub was exceptionally great after long days of hiking. We also enjoyed the fire pit evenings. We had deer walk through the yard daily. It is a place that feels like home. Very clean (I wouldn't hesitate to hire the cleaning service for my business) and well stocked with all the essentials, and more, including condiments, bathroom items, and plenty of towels. Wouldn't hesitate to return.

Nice cabin in the woods

Cabin is in a lake neighborhood but is private and quiet. We had a momma deer and two fawns visit us one evening. Good proximity to Big Fork, West Glacier and Kalispell.

Our Chalet is secluded in the woods but only 15 minutes away to the nearest town. Because of being in the woods we experience wildlife everyday. The other day there were 11 deer watching me stack wood and 3 Turkeys past me by. Last summer an Eagle swooped down and picked up a small fish from our lake. Both times I didn't have my camera but I'm going to start wearing it. If you don't want to use our lake for swimming or boating you can drive 15 minutes to Flathead Lake the largest fresh water lake this side of the Mississippi. Or drive 45 minutes to the entrance of Glacier National Park and drive on Going-to-the-sun highway. (A must to do.) If you like private & peace and quiet you'll love our place. If you want night life 30 minutes away you can find anything in downtown Whitefish. Just ask us what our favorite restaurants are. We have a few.
