Loved my stay in KY in such a sweet A-frame cabin in the woods. My dog and I enjoyed the porch with a great view, some great hiking, and lots of peace and quiet. I've stayed in many different VRBO's in the past, but this was definitely the cleanest!! I would recommend this stay to any family looking for some quality time with nature. There's also a great firepit up the hill from the home. The lake is also really pretty and so close to the property. Would definitely return, if I were planning to be in the area. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Area was quiet and clean. Enjoyed the stay and local areas. Convenient for us going back to Morehead State and still feel like we were vacationing. Would definitely stay again.

Google map can’t find cabin need to use Vrbo directions. Firewood not split a bit big for fires might want to bring some with you.Steep stairs to upstairs just be careful and could use curtain or blinds for doors. Nice place to stay for peace and quiet. Also get what you need no place but a dollar store near you.

Listing does state cabin is an A-frame cabin with steep stairs. Opening closet doors upstairs blocks the light coming in through balcony doors. Fire pit is shown. Wood on site is from the property and available as a courtesy. We provide messages to guests to inform them of directions and the location area and where you can pick up supplies. Reading those texts would have prepared you for the items that you mentioned above. Listing notes your backyard is the Daniel Boone National Forest. Our cabin is most definitely in the country and tucked away. This what makes it a peaceful location and a relaxing cabin for a getaway.

Beautiful cabin in the woods with scenic lookouts. Very clean. Host remained in contact throughout visit and was very helpful. Highly recommend a stay if you are in the area.

The cabin was everything they said plus some.Very clean and had everything we needed. The host were great to communicate with. Great views from the porch and balcony. Would definitely stay there again.

The cabin was the perfect size for my husband and myself… very relaxing, quiet, and beautiful area… The winding roads and the Nada Tunnel were a bit challenging, but what a great experience! Highly recommend this cabin and the hosts!

An amazing cabin. We absolutely loved it! We had the best time! Very clean and cozy. Great place to stay if u enjoy hiking. The kids had so much fun making smores, catching frogs and playing the board games that were there. Our four year old learned how to play “slap jack” and is obsessed! The dogs loved exploring outside. The sunrises and sunsets r amazing!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Cherokee Cabin. Hosts Stacy and Youvina were excellent with communicating about the cabin and the amenities. The cabin was very clean and well stocked. It was a perfect get away to enjoy the Red River Gorge area. We will be back!

This cabin was excellent. Very clean and very well kept. The view was awesome. The host was very responsive to messages. We have stayed at a lot of cabins in Kentucky and this was the best by far. I highly recommend it.

What I liked best was how clean the cabin was. We enjoyed the setting. Sitting on the porch or balcony and looking at nature. Good area for taking walks/hikes. The steps to the bedrooms were a little steep for us (we are a little older). The kitchen was very well equipped. We cooked dinner each night and were able to find all the utensils/pans we needed. The fire pit was nice as well. A good supply of wood (but some pieces needed splitting). Overall an excellent place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay! The views are absolutely amazing, and the cabin offers plenty of privacy surrounded by nature and beautiful trails. It’s thoughtfully designed and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing getaway. We would definitely recommend it!
