The location was great and the views spectacular. We enjoyed our time in the house and exploring the area. We did have some meals prepared and they were amazing.

Lovely Stay

We had a lovely stay at Casa Cielo. The views from the property are amazing, and it is conveniently located on the main road through to Santa Elena/Monteverde. We’re also very happy in benefits the Sustainability Center, which is one of the main reasons we booked.

Great cabin

There’s lots of great things about this place. If you want peace and quiet in nature this is the spot. Its a great cabin just far enough off the grid and it’s easy to get to town when needed.

hammock in paradise!

i had such a nice stay at this magical spot. saw beautiful birds and even some monkeys in the distance from the balcony! the views are unmatched.

Awesome home with a very unique location

Casa Cielo was fantastic and Veronica/Stuart were even more fantastic. Highly recommend this place. Make sure you stop at the sustainability centre, it was a highlight of our time in Monteverde

Absolutely Wonderful!!!

This place is totally wonderful, remote yet accessible, with an utterly stunning view, everything you need and just fantastic people to rent from. You will not regret choosing this rental!!

We are so grateful people take the time to write a note about their experience. It is so true that you are close to everything, yet far enough to not feel like you are in the crowded and loud Monteverde-Santa Elena area. The views can be watched in peace as you watch the sun-sets from your balcony and enjoy a home-delivered meal from a nearby neighbor. Everyone wins. Our guests love their experience and they help us help the world too, as all cabin income goes to fund the programs at the Sustainability Demonstration Center.

Great view!

We had a good stay at Casa Cielo. The sunsets and sunrises are absolutely amazing! The bed was comfortable however it was really short. Also, FYI the cabin is more on the rustic side and the balcony could use some work.

This property was built earlier than some others, and was an amazing find! You feel like you are alone in the cloud forest looking out at the view. The stairs to the bedroom are steep, so be ready for that. The proceeds from this vrbo support the Sustainability Center in Guacimal, so we felt great in supporting their important goals. Cafe Om down 606 in Guacimal was amazing, with real history of the settling of the area. Very nice for vegetarian and vegan foods made from scratch.The vrbo is close to all kinds of activities in Santa Elena and Monteverde, too.

A very charming cabin immersed in nature! Our family had a magical stay—we were even greeted by monkeys one morning, which was such a fun and unexpected surprise as they watched us curiously. The cabin is cozy and beautifully nestled in the natural surroundings. Access to the property involves a short walk with your luggage, but as a family of campers, it just felt like another adventure. Totally worth it for the peaceful atmosphere and breathtaking views. We’d absolutely recommend it to nature lovers looking for a unique and memorable experience!

Lovely tree house in idyllic location

The chalet was brilliant. A great space for the whole family, with amazing views. The hosts communicated brilliantly and we had a great time. The view is honestly just amazing and waking up to it on the mornings we're beautiful. Great facilities too with a kitchen stocked with equipment and some coffee and bits provided. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful Spot!

One of the most beautiful places I have ever stayed. The house is rustic and a little rough around the edges but that is all accounted for in the price and clear in the listing. The village of Santa Elena is close by and great for dining and shopping. Just string the hammock up on the porch and relax.

Beautiful view

Veronica and her sustainability center are doing great things for the community! We showed up to a free salsa lesson, and our kids joined in immediately. Happy that our stay supports a great cause! The location is close to everything and the view is unmatched!

It was great hosting our guests at Casa Cielo, and are glad to hear that they loved the location. We are so glad our guests stopped by our Sustainability Demonstration Center. It was fun getting to talk together about what we do at our Center, and the community salsa class loved having the children join in!

Wonderful!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful property - the views were gorgeous, the house had all the amenities we needed and helpful notes to explain the property. A true gem in Monteverde. Veronica was a terrific host and we loved that this helped support local social justice and sustainability causes!
