We front on the GULF! Condo VIEW OF THE GULF! We are back and better than ever! Totally rehabbed unit, new open concept kitchen, quartz counter top and new appliances. New bathrooms and new furnishings. Coral Cay is perfectly situated, fronting the gulf on 7 acres of landscaped grounds. Enjoy the two pools. Outside grill areas. A great place for you to relax and the children play!
Coral Cay is located between Beach Marker 4 and 5, within biking distance to town, shopping and restaurants, or walk on the beach to the fishing pier and the Jetty and a number of area restaurants.
You will not be disappointed by our unit’s GULF view, the easy, private walkway to the beach, and the comfort, size and updated furnishings of our unit.
Come and visit and relax each morning with a cup of coffee as you view the gulf and feel the warmth of the rising sun. In the evening, sip a glass of wine on the deck and watch the ships go and the stars come out. Drink a cold beer by the pool as you grill that steak or hot dogs. At dusk build a fire on the beach. Bring the children out with flashlights and find the sand crabs in their homes. So much to do....or not do!

Beautiful retreat

Summer Vacation

This is one of the only condos that has had everything we’ve ever needed and functional for our family! Great stay with young kids with just a few minute walk to the beach!

Very clean and comfortable!

I highly recommend this property. It was extremely clean, updated, and the check in process was fast and friendly. The property grounds are also well maintained. The boardwalk to the beach is located on the property, making beach access very easy. I think one of the best parts of our stay was that the interior of the condo was so quiet at night, even on a busy holiday weekend. It was peaceful and relaxing. Thank you!

Birthday celebration

We booked last minute gate away to celebrate my husband’s birthday. I came across this property during my search! Beautiful property! Very clean and not far for beach! We all enjoy our time. Very spacious property! One sad part is the property only has 1 shower. Other than that great place! We will be staying again!!!

Beach View

This was a truly wonderful condo. Nice layout, clean, stocked kitchen and a beach view! We mid-western3ra had a blended 3 generation family. Older folks wanted big rooms and easy access, teens wanted a beach view and parents wanted to keep the peace. This was perfect. Easy to check in, quiet area, super easy access to the beach, nice parking and easily the nicest VRBO or hotel I have ever stayed in. This was a great location for some quality family time. Thank you!

Great stay at Coral Cay

The Coral Cay condos are a great place to stay and the owner of this unit is very kind and easy to work with. The complex itself is not new but it's well maintained. This condo unit is well appointed, has comfortable beds, and is close to the beach. Our family (kids ages 8-10) had no problem walking with our things to the beach from the condo. We had a wonderful week!

Beautiful condo

My family and I take an annual Memorial day vacation to Port A. This condo was up to date, beautiful, and spacious. Lorenza has been a delightful person and has been very helpful. She answered my questions immediately. There was plenty of rooms for everyone. My family was very impressed and happy with the condo and location. I highly recommend this place and will be coming back again. Thank you Lorenza!

Perfect walk to the beach

The condo was nice and well appointed. It was very comfortable for our family with 3 kids. We had plenty of room to invite over old college friends for dinner. The boardwalk to the beach was very nice and an easy walk. Best part was the boardwalk ended in a ramp rather than steps. The last place we stayed had steps at the end and it was pain dragging coolers and things over the steps. We enjoyed both pools and grilled out all but one night.

Fun Girls Weekend

Several girlfriends stayed at this great condo for a relaxing girls weekend, and had an amazing time. The condo was very clean and nicely decorated. Furniture was new and in great condition. They had all the amenitites needed, and it was spacious enough for several adults to stay together and have enough space to relax and be comfortable. It would also be a nice property for families. The beach is within good proximity to the unit and the property is well maintained. The property is also within a nice distance to town - an easy run along the beach or bike along the roads will take you into town. I would definitely recommend this property and look forward to staying here again.

Summertime fun

Coral Cay remains our favorite Port A location, but prefer to keep quiet so it doesn't become overcrowded! Great remodel! LOVE the patio seating. Our only complaint is the master bed needs updating - noisy and not very comfortable. Both large burners on the stove did not work, which was reported to the office at time of departure. Had not planned to do much cooking anyhow. :) Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and hope to return. Thanks for the hospitality!

Great location

This was a great location with a 3 minute walk to the beach and close to a lot of restaurants! We had similar issues with the refrigerator not cooling quickly. The owner responded very promptly as well as the management staff. Unfortunately, the response from the management was when the refrigerator has a lot of warm things in it, it takes a long time to cool. We ended up freezing some of our water bottles and putting them in the fridge in order to help it along. We also kept our perishables in the cooler overnight. We got there Friday afternoon and by Sunday morning the fridge and contents were cold. We would definitely stay here again.

Family beach trip

The location of the condo was perfect for my kids and I. The condo was very clean and organized. Unfortunately, the Texas heat got the best of the owner’s AC unit and it went out. Lorenza was very kind and active in trying to get this fixed. Even with the experts out the next day the AC could not be repaired in time. Lorenza and the condo management were able to get us into a new condo for comfort. While this situation wasn’t ideal, it was handled in a professional manner and I truly appreciate their efforts. I would recommend staying here as it is truly a wonderful condo, kind owner, and attentive management group.

Nice View, good location

This is a pretty good condo, with a surprisingly good view of the dune and gulf. It's not new but very clean and the furnishings are comfortable. The kitchen is small but well equipped - nice new Cuisinart coffee maker which is important to me. There aren't many wall plugs, which is typical of older buildings, and it's a little dark - interior lighting could use improvement. The only thing we found really annoying was the stairs and the heavy front door with an auto close on it and no way keep it open - pretty inconvenient when you bring in your luggage and ice chest. Check in staff was nice and efficient and the grounds were clean. Only a short boardwalk walk to the beach. We liked being close to town. I looked around at other complexes since this was our first trip to Port A, and decided we had made a good choice. Would definately consider staying here again, as condos with a view are really hard to find.

Very nice beach condo!

We go to Port Aransas every summer and have been staying at different properties over the past several years. We came across this one when we were checking VRBO, and it looked really nice and was close to the beach so we booked it. We are so glad we did. This condo is very nice, clean, and modern, is a close walk to the beach, and the balcony overlooks the dunes, beach and the water. We stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed our time there. The drive to the beach with our stuff was very short, and the drive in to town was very short as well. The property management staff were awesome as well. The only challenge we had was that the after hours check-in instructions were not very clear. The listing advised that the front office is open until 9pm on most days, however when we arrived at 6pm on a Wednesday it was closed, and the sign in the window says it closes at 5pm each day. We had to call the after hours number to get someone on the phone who told us that our key was left under the mat near the door of the front office so it turned out to not be a big deal, but we were concerned when we arrived about how we would get into the until until we called the after hours number. Other than that, all was great. I highly recommend this property, condo, and host, as all were amazing and made our annual beach trip special. Thank you!

Great Location and Customer Service

Our family of 4 stayed at the condo just prior to July 4th and we had a great time. A few impressions: - Location is 2nd floor: Either I didn't read the property description well or I just plain missed it - but didn't realize this was on a second floor, not ground floor. This will work in your favor as you'd just see the dunes in front of you otherwise - but good to know if you have any mobility issues. The Gulf is not "super close" but you can see it... we enjoyed seeing the freighters! - Amenities: Kitchen did provide all utensils and cooking items... kitchen should be remodeled eventually as cabinets were pretty worn, but not detrimental by any means. Bedrooms were pretty, cheerful and comfortable. Portable fans were helpful as the rooms did get a little warm for us. Living room was cute and comfortable! Owner may want to consider doing some spot cleaning to the couch, but it wasn't overly dirty. Lots of seating and we loved the big dining room table. - Property: We LOVED the boardwalk and I noticed that it was the only boardwalk that was LIGHTED at night so you can easily find your way to the beach! We found an access road to drive to our beach point (tip: When driving on the beach, look for a sign marked "4" and that's the closest to the Coral Cay Condo boardwalk) so we can back up and unload our gear easily (we confess we bring a ton). We ended up not bothering to grill as we enjoyed various restaurants instead. - We did have two issues during our stay, which were resolved quickly - sudden ant issue in the kitchen under the sink (condo IS by the beach so not unexpected) and an A/C issue on the last day - but the owner was very responsive and helped fix the issues quickly. - Keys were difficult to use - I think because of the salt water air I'm sure it's hard on it... Locks could use a good oiling/fixing... it was REALLY hard to get in/out of.... we had to exchange the keys several times with the front office as they wouldn't work properly. My son could not get into the condo by himself - had to have an adult as you really had to work the lock hard to get in. - Beach: It felt very private and with the exception of the holiday (it's expected that it gets really crazy during the 4th of July) - this location was really nice as it seemed less "public"... GREAT location as it felt secluded yet you were really close to town... just down the road a bit to groceries, restaurants and more. Highly recommend and we'd love to come back!

Great stay!

Path to the beach, clean and convenient to all the fun in Port A. Modern beach condo with balcony. 2 shared pools. Really enjoyed our time here and was close enough for day trips to Corpus Christie. Loved being able to hear and see the beach. Only thing that I didn’t realize was laundry was not in unit but coin facility for all of Coral Cay. Loved the place though and definitely will stay again.

Great accommodations & convenient to the beach

This is our 2nd time staying in Coral Cay, but in a different unit. We enjoyed the unit so much, very convenient to the beach (with an amazing view from the balcony), the decor & amenities were great, was nice to have the bunk bed & full size bed in the 2nd bedroom so the kids didn’t have Rock Paper Scissors over who got the sofa bed. A 2nd shower would have been nice, but it honestly wasn’t a big deal at all. Hope to stay here again :)

It has always been a dream of mine to be by the water. The sounds and view of it calms me. It took a year of looking to find the unit that offered the view and amenities that I was hoping to find.
Harvey destroyed our unit. And after three long years of missing our home away from home. Our unit is back. Brand new and lovely.
We have purchased furniture that makes the unit comfortable for us, family and guests.

Close to the beach, with a wonderful water view. Quick and easy trip to restaurants, shops and fishing at the pier. Rent a golf cart in the many close by facilities for in town fun.
Lots of parking, park right in front of the building. Coral Cay has two pools, coin operated laundry facilities. Wonderful staff.
Make sure you make restaurant reservations for the sit down dining (especially during the summer/holiday times.
