Great home for weekend getaway!

The Lake Erie Beach Hutch provided everything we needed for a family weekend getaway-easy to find, great location near the beach and a playground, and very walkable neighborhood with our dogs! The house had plenty of room, and was clean- we all remarked how immaculate the bathroom was! We loved the backyard for winding down after a busy day out! The owners were easily reachable and great to work with. First time in Port Clinton and we will be back after this wonderful experience!

Our stay at the house was very cozy on a cool May week. It is well located to enjoy the view of the park and the lake while being protected from the wind.

Beautiful lake side retreat

The home was steps from lake with tremendous views! The park across the street was so perfect for our grandchildren. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. House has everything you need!

Wonderful Place to Stay in Port Clinton

Me and some friends stayed at the Beach Hut for our fishing trip and really enjoyed the home. House was clean and orderly when we arrived, rooms were comfortable, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Would definitely stay here for our next trip.

April fishing trip

The Beach Hut was perfect place for me and a couple friends to spend a long weekend fishing the walleye capital of the world. The house was close to downtown Port Clinton, it was clean, well maintained and we had plenty of room with comfortable beds. The driveway was big enough for my truck and 23 foot boat which made it very convenient.

Romantic Getaway!!

Clean, charming and quiet! Right across from the street that is great for kids or dogs. Location was great, just a short walk to the beach and downtown. Would definitely stay there again.

Another fantastic stay at the Beach Hutch!

What a great property and owners! Lovely people, very responsive, great property! The location is super convenient, it is well maintained and very functional. We highly recommend this rental. Our family had a fantastic time, we would book this one again!

One of cleanest places I have ever stayed at. Perfect location and I loved that they allowed our fur baby to enjoy vacation with us. Highly recommend. Hosts respond immediately with any questions.

Cedar point

Stayed 2 nights so we could go to cedar point. Everything was as described. Perfect for 7 of us. Very clean and close to lake with lake views.

Family Vacation

We enjoyed our stay at this Port Clinton home. There was a fun playground right outside the front door. The house was very clean and roomy. The beach is a short walking distance away. The week we were there it was not open for swimming, but I understand it is usually fine. Other beaches were within a short drive. We liked the patio with the fire pit. It would be better if there was a larger table in the kitchen.

6th birthday beach trip bonanza!!

The Beach Hutch is an awesome property. The house was lovely. It’s quite well suited to two families sharing it with the effectively divided living spaces. The proximity of the park and the beach was fantastic for our kindergarten age children and our dog. One parent could slip over to the park as though it was the front yard of the house and play with the kids at any time to keep them occupied when they were becoming restless. The beach was but a few steps farther. Nice and shallow, great beach for kids!! Hosts were fantastic to work with! We will definitely rent this one again!

Perfect for families

This home was perfect for us. Directly across the street was one of the nicest parks I have ever been to. There was so much for kids of all ages. Connected to that park is access to the beach which we enjoyed. The home itself is beautiful and charming. The neighborhood is quiet and on a one-way street. There is plenty of parking. The kids enjoyed the upstairs loft all to themselves. You are minutes from the Jet Express and about 20 min from Miller's Ferry. You are very close to downtown Port Clinton with a ton of entertainment as well as anything in the Lakeside Marblehead area. We will be saving this spot for future trips!

Beautiful place, great location

The location was just great. The house itself is beautiful. Very clean. Good communication.It was rather expensive and therefore disappointing that we struggle to keep the house cool enough. There were settings on the thermostat that did not allow you to run it for more than a half an hour before it shut off for a couple of hours and locked you out and wouldn’t let you turn it on again. The bed in the back of the house was like a catchers and very uncomfortable for those guests. The checkout process was very tedious and overwhelming, and I think too much given that the house was quite expensive and the fees should cover much of what is requested. Overall, a great place and would recommend highly. Nobody’s perfect.

This review was accidental which is why it did not have a comment from the guest. The guest tried many times to call and get it removed to replace with a 10/10 but Vrbo would not update.
