Review of our stay

Our stay was very nice. We did not like the parking across the street. We were disappointed in the deal for 1 free golf each day. We stayed 28 days not the 27 to be able to cash in on any of the free golf. Otherwise our stay was nice. I did have to wash one of the bed spreads because of stains that was on it.

Happy you overall enjoyed your stay! We have other properties that have parking on the same side of the street as the building. Feel free to reach out next time when planning and we'd love to find you a property more suitable for you! We can also set you up with a 27 night stay so you can take advantage of the free activities as advertised.

Not what we expected

It was out dated. Pictures are very deciving. Both toilets consistently stopped up.

Hi, Pam. This is a disappointing review to receive. The listing photos were taken less than 2 years ago, so they are an accurate representation of this condo and it is priced accordingly. We have never had any previous guests complain about the toilets, however, had you reached out at all during your stay, we would have been happy to send someone to take a look for you. It’s impossible for us to correct an issue if we aren’t aware of it. Thanks.

The TV in the living room would not turn on or wouldn’t work. The two TVs in the bedrooms were really small and the picture was half the size of the screen. The coffee pot leaked, and the ice machine kept turning off.

Host and condo were wonderful, resort could use some help

Let me first say our host was fantastic, and most of my complaints were because of the time of the year. One morning we waited 45 minutes for an elevator to go down to the beach, we never got to even go to the pools because they were way over crowded with not enough seating for half the people there. You can not put umbrellas or canopies right in front of the resort because that is reserved for umbrellas and chairs you have to rent for 60 a day. This area of beach is so crowded, we left and went down to St Andrews park. I will say I hope this is all due to the time of the year, because other than the over crowded beach and slow elevators we had a fabulous time.

Tammy, thank you for sharing your experience with us. We’re glad to hear our host made a positive impression. We understand the challenges that come with peak season, and we appreciate your patience with the elevator wait times and crowded beach areas. Your feedback about seating and beach access is valuable, and we hope to offer a more relaxed atmosphere during your next visit. We look forward to welcoming you back to Southern Coast VR.

Location was perfect, had plenty of room for family of 6. Check in was smooth and easy process. Elevator's took so long, you have to wait awhile before on opens. We wished the tvs were bigger for the rooms but the overall place was clean. We enjoyed our stay!!

Everything was great till the washer stopped working then I called maintenance the morning after it stopped working at 630am and had to troubleshoot why the washer wasn't working then had to call back because it still wasn't working then had to call back and finally said they would send someone out well they didn't come till after 4 and it can't be fixed.

We're so sorry the washer decided to stop working during your stay, the day before your departure. Please note this washer is less than 2 years old and was running fine before yesterday. There was some back and forth as we wanted to make sure you were using it properly, guests often pack those smaller washers so full that they will not run. You were not in the unit so you had to call us back. I felt like our team was very responsive, sorry you didn't feel that way. I hope you otherwise enjoyed your stay and that you will visit us again.
