The place was great- spotless, comfortable bed, and very gracious host. The town was adorable. Highly recommend! If we ever go back, we will definitely rebook with Susan!

Unique, spacious, tranquil. You feel you are stepping back into time and stepping into an artist’s world. I have stayed at many rental places in Bucks County visiting my family over the years, and this space is real special. Being so dog-friendly was helpful, and walking distance from some shops was nice too. Definitely recommend!

Reunions sanctuary

This was a welcome retreat from the craziness of Princeton reunions and only 20 minutes away. The apartment is spacious, clean, and well-appointed. The bed was especially comfy and the gardens were lovely.

Spacious and peaceful

This property was a perfect stop along my summer journey! Susan makes sure all the small touches are taken care of to provide a fun and easy stay. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable.

Interesting, welcoming property

We had a one night stay on our way north with 2 labs. The historic venue was interesting and easy to navigate, a fenced garden was a real bonus. Highly recommend. Good restaurants and quaint town in walking distance.

We have a large dog so truly appreciate how dog friendly this apartment and the surrounding neighborhood are. Loved being able to walk to antique stores, restaurants, and shops. Very friendly and communicative host, and very friendly neighborhood. I have already recommended this place to numerous friends! Hopewell is beautiful and this apartment is incredibly appointed and spacious!

Responsive gracious host. Amenities were excellent, every need anticipated. Interesting art, decor, unique building, comfortable bed, excellent shower (great water pressure!), warm, inviting and spacious home. First class all the way.

We enjoyed our one-night stay with our dog for the July 4th holiday. The 1-bedroom apartment had a large open living room for relaxing. There are lots of books to read, but no TV. It is an easy walk to downtown restaurants, shops and several parks.

A former chocolate factory

Everything we needed to make us comfortable after a long drive with our pets in tow. Susan has a real artistic flare with interesting touches everywhere you turn. We are return visitors for the second time and plan another trip in the spring.

Just what we were looking for

This was just the casual and easy living space we were looking for with a little garden for a small dog's needs. It is in walking distance of a fabulous breakfast/lunch place and antique stores! What could be better? The only surprise was the kitchenette did not have a sink.

Beautiful space

The Chocolate Factory is a beautiful building with an interesting history. The listed apartment is large and wonderfully furnished. A slightly larger kitchenette would be nice, but everything worked out. The town is pretty and friendly, with many destinations within walking distance, though sidewalks left something to be desired on some streets.Our stay was cut short by a double booking, but our host was apologetic and very helpful. We hope to be able to stay again in the future.

Susan was a great host. The property is very unique and interesting. The area is so cute and quaint. My child loved the small green park across the street. We wished we had more time to enjoy and explore here. Only small issue (for us) was the loud window ac unit. We are not used to that type of background noise in the bedroom which made it tough to get to sleep. Overall we loved our trip!

If you have an art or design background, you will love this apartment in a renovated chocolate factory! Hopewell is charming, walkable and has some unique, small restaurants. If you are visiting Princeton, the apartment is a quick drive away.
