The view from this home was spectacular. We loved the open concept of the home and the large combination sleeping room/rec room for the young people in our group. Even the dog had a great time. He loved the dog bed, and the large fenced in yard was perfect for him. The only caveat is that the walk to the private pebble beach is down the steep boat ramp, which was challenging for a member of our group with disabilities, but she made it there and back with support, and the swimming was worth it. We also enjoyed taking the canoe out to explore the little island.

Great private quiet location. Excellent lake scenery. Fantastic floor plan for large family. Very clean and has all the stuff to enjoy a vacation. Boat ramp, private dock, large decks. Highly recommend . Looking forward to our next trip.

The driveway is perfect for sidewalk chalk and the private beach was a favorite for everyone including our dog. We rented a pontoon boat and another day enjoyed a nearby public beach.The sunsets were amazing. Comfortable beds, cozy home and a fenced in yard and deck made the stay worry free for our pet.

The host was great at responding with any questions we had. We had a great time here. We definitely had plenty of space for everyone. The views to the lake were incredible. You don’t want to miss the sunset. The place was nicely stocked with cookware and cooking utensils. Felt right at home here.

This was our very first time staying at a rental home and we were very impressed.Large family of 9 and had plenty of indoor and outdoor space. The home was clean inside and was just as described. We had everything we needed for cooking all our meals and even some cleaning supplies there to clean up after each meal. (I like to clean and vacuum daily)Had a couple visits from the neighbors dogs which didn’t bother us much. They seemed very friendly.The only down fall was not having the dock up for fishing off of or kids to jump off of but we made due.Swimming area by the paddle boards was nice. We just laid down towels and pretended it was a beach. (Bring water shoes of some sort for the rocks)We would definitely go back for another stay, we were sad to leave.

Very nice home. Well equipped kitchen. Had the largest blackstone and a large traditional gas grill, both attached to a large propane tank in the yard. Beautiful view of the lake. Private boat dock and launch. 3 full bathrooms. Host was very accessible by text or phone call. Plenty of get started supplies. A really nice welcome basket that included smores supplies ( came with goodies for reeces peanut butter cup and crackle bar smores which were wonderful). This is our 4th year for a family, KY lake, memorial day trip. We will definitely return to this house. Thank you to the Guptil family.

Everything was clean except the BBQ grill, it was nasty. Not a big deal!! Cleaned it and used it. Air conditioning worked great until it didn't. Called host and it was fixed later on that day. They had been working on the dock and we only used it for fishing so it wasn't a big deal. They had a bowl of goodies on the island and a note which I thought was really cool. House was very big and roomy. There was 11 of us, 6 adults and 5 kids. Plenty of beds, bathrooms, and we never ran out of hot water. The hill to the water very, very steep. Not for old people!!! The deck was beautiful and the sunsets were even better!! The kids all enjoyed the water toys canoe, paddle boards, and kayak. They had a blast!!! A good time was had by all. The kids caught a couple of fish and it made their day!!

For anyone wanting a quote place to retreat with Great Lake views this is the place. The sunsets are amazing over the water and to bald eagles take flight from near by nest is amazing. The house is very well maintained and adequate for a group of people or even just couples getaway. The house is furnished with anything you could possibly need and very well maintained. If you enjoy to fish, the boat ramp offers a clean easily accessible spot to do so from the bank. We managed to catch a variety of different species. While the house and area is great, the host is just as great. The communication from the host is excellent. We even left a few items and they shipped them back to us.So if you’re looking for a hassle free, amazing vacation spot on the lake, this is your place! From home to host this is the place!

nice place to stay

We really enjoyed our stay. We had a party of 10 people and everyone had their own bed. It was well taken care of and the deck around the outside was great. It had everything we needed and more. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Beautiful Spot

The road getting there was a little tricky, but the stay was wonderful. The hosts were responsive and the property was well equipped.

Beautiful Lake House

The house is beautiful and stocked with everything we needed. It was very clean and quiet. We enjoyed using the kayaks, canoes and paddle boats. The view from the back deck was breathtaking! Don’t miss viewing the sunsets. We completely enjoyed our family reunion and are thankful we had such a wonderful home to stay in!!

It was a great stay! The house and dock was great! If you have a large boat, I do not recommend trying to bring it down the hill. It is very steep. But other than that, amazing stay! The owners are very nice and communicate very well.

We loved the open area for family gathering and the deck where we could hang out safely with our 3 year old guest. We used the dock daily for fishing and keeping our boats. We "hated" (not really) those dang steps. And we really loved the fact that we stayed put and didnt drive around. Its a beautiful quiet part of the lake and those sunsets were perfect

Getaway

The house was a Great Lake house and host communicated very well. Very relaxing and peaceful. The sunsets amazing and little extras by host were nice, like canoe, life jackets and s’mores basket. Be sure to pack what you need because it is a ways to go get supplies. Just what we were looking for in a getaway.

Perfect Lakehouse

Our family stayed for a week and it was perfect! The house had everything we needed. It was our multipoo’s first vacation and the house allowed him to run around on the deck without us worrying about him getting loose. When we arrived we found a goodie bowl with a personal note, it added a nice touch! They even included a dog bone for our Louie. The sunsets from the dock and deck are breathtaking. We enjoyed fishing, skiing, tubing, paddle boarding and swimming. Some days we were the only ones on the lake, it was very relaxing! We definitely keep this place on our favorites list to visit again.

Secluded and peaceful

It was secluded and peaceful with a great dock and a lot of activities for the kids. The house is in a beautiful location with amazing sunsets to watch from the deck or dock. The house worked out perfectly for our two families and two dogs. We had a hiccup with the electricity but Ronnie was quick to contact the electrician and have them come fix it.

Outstanding amenities - lakefront, boat dock, private boat launch, hot tub, large covered outdoor living area, canoe, kayaks, paddle boards, wildlife, nature. And the BEST sunsets in middle Tennessee! Kentucky Lake is 2 miles wide out your back door. As you look over the lake there are literally no houses in sight. And with house on a hill and facing west - with the sun setting on the other side of this 2-mile stretch of lake, sunsets are breathtaking. The fishing in the area is outstanding - we have more angler traffic than any other traffic on the water. With Kentucky Lake being so large and still largely undiscovered, you will feel like you have the lake all to yourself, yet there are 3 marinas within a 10 minute boat ride. This is truly a special place that is exclusive and remote yet accessible for middle Tennessee residents.
